Just about the best around. Darn good sandwiches, good service. Not elegant, but a good working man’s deli!

I came here because I was driving past Lower Lake while visiting Lake County from Sacramento. I love sandwiches and decided to stop here because of all the great Unilocal reviews.
The atmosphere is unremarkable and pretty much looks like a hole-​in-​the-​wall. When I first walked in it was obvious that people don’t come here for that. The menu is posted for you to read and then you order at the counter and receive a number for them to drop off your food. I appreciated it that there were clearly marked vegetarian options even though none of them seemed particularly unique.
I ordered the #20 which was a vegetarian sandwich with cream cheese, avocado, and sprouts with other standard fixings on a dutch crunch roll for $ 7.95. The bread was fresh and it was definitely a good sandwich. When I ordered it to-​go, they didn’t put any napkins in my bag so I’m happy I double checked and so was able to grab some from the counter before I left.
I would come back here again if I was in the area and think it’s a solid option to pick up a sandwich while visiting or driving by this part of Clear Lake.

There is nothing better than Jimmy’s. This is a must eat if you are in Lake county. Fresh, clean and great service. You can’t beat Jimmy’s. The Falafels are the greatest. Full of flavor. The burritos are delicious.

This place is always amazing, and they always get my order right. The pesto chichen sandwich is my favorite (highly recommend adding bacon, which they use thick cut delicious slices of). We get Jimmy’s almost every Friday for lunch, I wish they were open Saturday!

I have been coming here since they opened, if you have not been here shame on you.
Hands down the best «deli/​taqueria» ever, anywhere. The food is always great and I mean everything on the menu. The staff is friendly and the owner says hello to everyone who comes in.
If you are in Lakeport during the week, have a meal here. You will be hooked.

Absolutely one of he shining stars of Lake County. Their food, service, cleanliness, prices– cannot be beat. If only they were open on the weekends. No matter your preference, if you go here you will NOT be disappointed!

Jimmy’s is now my go to place when in Lakeport. The food is AWESOME !!!

This is a cool little place in a shopping center and is by far the best food I’ve had in Lake County, and I live in Lake County and I eat everyday so that’s saying something.
They have wonderful freshly baked bread and rolls for the freshly grilled, tender, juicy chicken and tri tip to be at home on. Bread is the foundation of a great sandwich. The meat is also a star at Jimmy’s.
I personally recommend their mexican food highly. I always get the tri tip or shrimp burrito. These aren’t your shoddily built imposter burritos from local eateries in Ukiah. These are burritos with SOUL. They have heat, real tasty seasoned meats, a little rice and a little beans and a great hot sauce they make in house available on request. Request it and put it all over the darned thing. It’ll burn, but its worth it. Love this place. Go there.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had .“The Big T”. A must if you’re near Clear Lake.

Everything they make is made with love. This is a family owned business that makes amazing food and does anything in their power to make your dinning experience something you won’t soon forget.

Best in town! Friendly! Small parking lot… closed on weekends :(If you can go before or after the rush, it gets very busy!

This place is Lakeport’s prize possession. Amazing chicken and great service and the atmosphere is super friendly. Definitely my go-​to place on a lunch break or a mid afternoon treat. The menu is very large and the food is always consistent.

Although the food is good, one bad experience will ruin it for me completely! We ordered tacos, and as I get half way through I find a hair. A small hair, like an eye lash hair. So, we let them know and of course they remake it… only to get ANOTHER taco with even a longer piece of hair. Disgusting and unexcetptable to me, and there was no making it right at this point! I was not going to attempt to eat a third taco and have to inspect every bite.

Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, one thing I miss is good ethnic food.
Jimmy’s Deli hits the spot for good food, Mediterranean and otherwise.
Falafel is substantive, filling, tasty and satisfying as is most of their other Mediterranean dishes. I especially enjoyed the lamb Gyro’s
Friends have come here and have gotten other dishes and have said the same. Jimmy’s has also catered my office and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed their food.
Service was great everyone was friendly, courteous and generous to a fault.
I will be back!
Keep up the great work, this is one place that stands out hands above many others I have eaten at, even in the Bay Area where there are a lot more restaurants which serve similar dishes.
The only complaint I have is that they are not open later or on the weekend. At the very least, I wish they would stay open late on Friday’s.

What a gem! A coworker who lives in the area recommended this spot, said he and his wife come here pretty much every day. I can see why as they have delicious food. It’s mostly sandwiches, burritos, salads, burgers — casual stuff like that. Everything is bursting with flavor and freshness. You can see them grilling the meat outside as you walk in. It was very crowded when I came, around lunchtime, but the service was fast and friendly. I’ll definitely make it a point to come here every chance I get.

The chicken here is mighty tasty. You can’t go wrong getting any item on the menu that has chicken. Definitely the best restaurant in town here. Jimmy gave us samples of his chicken and falafel every time we came. The Mediterranean dishes were some of the best I’ve had considering I’m from the Bay Area which is a foodie mecca. The falafels were crunchy on the outside, sprinkled with sesame seeds. I went for 9 days while working up in Lakeport for over 2 weeks. Of the sandwiches, my favorites were 41, Jimmy’s Classic, a BBQ Chicken sandwich and 49, Big T, BBQ chicken, bacon, avocado and Swiss. I also had a lamb Gyro and Schwarma Pita. Make sure you come here if you are in Lakeport. This is a must visit kind of place.

Hands down the best food in Lakeport! It was so good that I ate here almost exclusively during my 3 week stay for work.
The owner, Jimmy, is extremely friendly and hospitable. Each day he greeted me with a smile and a sample of the delicious chIcken he BBQ’s outside daily.
Amazing sandwiches and Mediterranean food. The salsa is also fresh as I watched him make it.
My personal favorites were:

If I ever come back to this town, Jimmy’s is a must for lunch!

I would eat here for lunch everyday if I could. Some of my favorites are the Big T and the tri-​tip burrito. The people that work here are great, always so friendly! They have a pretty large menu so there’s something for everyone! Food comes out fast and is excellent!

Fast service. And nice people. The place is kept clean and the bathroom as well. The keep great control of the flies and was Happy to see that employees were washing hands many times after cleaning or cleaning dishes.
Today I tried the shrimp burrito and it took about 8 minutes from the time I ordered to time I got my food. It was very good– but they did forget to put avocado & sour cream. But I still enjoyed it. :-D thank you.
