Seems like a decent store, kinda small, seems like they sell a lot of used guns mostly, though they were new ones as well. Seemed friendly. Smaller selection than most. Their range is not on property, it is nearby at Tenoroc. Very small parking lot.

I came across this store when researching local gun ranges online. There is some connection between the Tenoroc Shooting Range and Ultimate Arms, though I do not recall the specifics. What drew me in was an article from 2005 in the Lakeland Ledger magazine. The article’s author positively glowed about the place, and after visiting, I see why. The shop is equal parts museum and store. The owner is very knowledgeable about his stock, and very approachable. I wish we had stores like this back in Oregon. Cleanest gun store I have ever visited, with a collection of Italian shotguns I wish I could afford. I do not mean to imply that they do not carry firearms for any budget, it’s just that once you’ve held such fine craftsmanship in your hands, it’s pretty hard to get too excited about what you can afford. All of their handguns are housed in cases, but we were told upon entry that they will happily pull out everything we wish to inspect. If you are a woman considering purchasing a handgun, I highly recommend visiting Ultimate Arms. If you are in the market for a fine shotgun, you couldn’t do better than to visit this place.
