Radiology & Imaging Specialists

RIS, a lab for xrays and imaging, used to have a good reputation for efficiency, top equipment and class, competitive with the bigger clinic labs in Lakeland. My last 3 experiences have been horrible and I will not go back. On a test that involved consumming a large amount of water and «holding it», they missed my appointment time by TWO hours and required multiple concerns expressed before they corrected. Another time, they left me unattended in a CT scan when help was needed. This last time, I stopped in to ask a simple clerical procedure question. They refused to respond, had me sign in and STILL had not gotten to my name 20 minutes later. The place was a zoo-​chaotic. There were only two receptionists. I’d first fire them for incompetence/​lack of people skills, but then I’d look at the owners who must be shaving their help to increase their profit. Three brand new TVs mounted on the walls would be unnecessary if they took care of people in a timely fashion. Shameful.
