I love the Publix on Hwy 98 N

I love this store. Publix is great but this store is the best in my opinion. I have mobility problems and have to use the power scooter the store provides. Thank you Publix for providing these scooters! The store is always fully stocked and immaculately clean. The employees seem to be happy to work there. I have become a «regular» at the store, recognizing the cashiers and baggers, and they recognize me. Chit chat, like how’s your dog? Or me asking if they passed a certain test in their high school or college course. It’s nice, if makes me feel connected to the world. Employees are always available to help, often asking if I need help or how is my day going? They are eager to reach for items or locate items for me. This store is a joy to shop at. The check out lines are never long. They will open up a new line even if it means a manager is working as cashier to get thru the rush. It’s never long to check out. Most often employees will help unload the items from the basket on the scooter. Of course, they carry out the groceries and put them into my vehicle –all for free, no tipping allowed, and pleasant friendly chit chat. I highly recommend this store.

This store is always nice to go into. If you ask for help finding something they take you right to it. I like good customer service. Thanks Publix!!!

Best market/​grocery in the area!
I am a visitor and was surprised at the selection, quality and atmosphere here. We were looking for vegan goods and found more here than at Whole Foods at home!

My wife just spent 20 minutes sitting in her car waiting to be helped at the pharmacy drive thru. For the first 8, no one walked up to the window or said anything at all. Then, after pressing the call button, she heard a «be right with you» in a snotty female voice. Another 8 minutes went by and a man walked past and looked directly at her. He asked if she had been helped yet, and she said no. He told her they would be right with her. 4 more minutes elapsed until the original woman who told her someone would be right with her, came up and just asked for my wife’s last name. Then, she disappeared because she couldn’t find my son’s prescription. When they found it, my wife asked if they could make sure the dispenser was included. The woman gave my wife a look like she was just asked to give up her first born. Finally, my wife was able to get the prescription, but the woman never asked for a birthdate, address, or phone number. Anyone could have picked it up. In all honesty, every time I am at this pharmacy, there are typically four or five people working behind the counter, yet it always seems like nothing ever gets done and customers are always waiting. When I call to refill a prescription, it’s always a two day wait. It shouldn’t take two days to get a refill of any prescription. Not at that size of a pharmacy. I love that Publix, but the pharmacy is an absolute joke.

Went there with a woman who had her arm in a cast. The bag boy told her he’d take our things out to car. He was polite and friendly the whole time. Seemed like he enjoyed helping. We bought several items with Publix brand. So far all that I tasted were good. Check out was slow as our cashier chatted at length to the customer 2 in front of us. She continued to talk even after they paid and were ready to leave. I think she just didn’t want to work at normal cashier pace. The store is clean and bright and has a great selection of food.

This is a very nice and clean store. The staff is friendly and the prices are pretty good.

We locals are so spoiled when it comes to Publix. Do some traveling away from the South and you’ll come to realize how good you have it when it comes to the entire grocery store experience with Publix. It’s still common to walk into the grocery store, walk down the aisle and be asked by an employee or a manager how your day is going and if they can help you find anything. Unheard of in this day & age. This store is immaculately clean, brightly lit, staffed with friendly people who do not mind going above and beyond to help the customer — pretty much the «Publix standard.»
It is not uncommon to be asked when you check out if you found everything okay, and if you did not, to have the cashier offer to order the product for you. It is not uncommon to have the bagger unload your grocery cart for you while you have a friendly chat with the cashier.
Never have I approached a Publix employee to ask if they have something that I cannot find that I was not helped in a courteous manner, and often walked directly to the product about which I was asking. Their produce department is amazing.

This is a very nice publix. From what I understand, it’s only been open for about a year, but they pulled out all of the stops. The wine section is extensive, the deli not only has the sub and chicken area, but also a selection of soups and cornbread. I was very impressed by the sheer variety they have.
The staff is extremely friendly and efficient, always willing to assist. I went to customer service to see if I could get a rain check for an item I didn’t see on the shelf. He was willing to check the system and the back to make sure they were out of stock. Once he verified, he was more than happy to write me a rain check so I could come back. I’m extremely satisfied with this location!

this is my grocery store I love coming here it is very clean always helpful staff when you need to find something the bakery is awesome the deli is really good I love the sushi and I can get in n out love with the cleanliness of the place

Brand new store and the North side of Lakeland finally has SUSHI!!!
