Pizza crust was crispy and not a bit greasy as a few other reviews had. Marinara sauce for the Stromboli my husband had was delicious. Very fresh tasting. He loved his Stromboli, but to be fair, he’d eat anything. I had the Pizza Bianca and it was lovely. Tasty mozzarella and creamy ricotta with great herbs. More of a take out place though there are several tables. Girls at the counter were very friendly and informative. I wouldn’t eat in again, but we will definitely be return customers.

Until today, this place had my business. I ordered a specialty pizza, the Spicy Pepperoni, around 8:15 for pick up, to feed my husband & his friend, who had bee laying tile all afternoon, and me. After picking up the pizza and getting home, it was 9:15. I opened the box to discover a plain pepperoni. I’m normally not one to call a restaurant out on errors, but tonight I decided to call. The woman I spoke with INSISTED they had no such thing as a Spicy Pepperoni, even arguing with me, after I told her what it was and that we’d ordered it before. Now, mind you, I was not mad until this next thing happened. I asked to speak with a manager. She said, in a mocking tone with laughter in her voice, «Oh, sure, you can speak with a manager.» She then hands over the phone saying, «this woman is mad because she says we got her order wrong.» Now, I’m FUMING. The manager, a guy, gets on the phone. I explain what happened. He says they DO make a Spicy Pepperoni, and the person who took my order prob got it mixed up. I then proceeded to say that I wasn’t upset until the woman basically mocked me and made it seem like I was wrong. He said I’d get a complimentary pizza next time, but only took my first name(no contact info) and hung up. Sorry, dude, but your lack of service and not even acknowledging that your employee treated me poorly on the phone has caused you to lose our business and receive this review.

I can’t say enough good things about the pizza here. The crust is perfect and so is the sauce. There is a wide variety of topping options too. The lunch special is 2 slices and a drink for $ 6.50 from 11 – 3. They have a family special too. Garlic knots and 4 drinks and one a topping pizza for $ 23.95. My favorite part about coming here is the service! Every employee I’ve met is friendly and helpful. I’ve never left disappointed.

I mean, for lunch this place isn’t bad. It’s right around the corner from work and the price is right. The pizza is really greasy, though, and could be a lot better. Staff is way friendly and provides fast service.

Good New York style crust with generous toppings. The Antipasti salad is generous and produce is nice and fresh. Quick service, great for a slice before the movies.

Good thing I was starving or else this would get ½ a star. Should have Unilocaled it before I ordered but everyone is right, not that great. Took 50 minutes to deliver a cold, soggy, oversauced, overpriced 10inch pizza. about a ¼ mile across the parking lot to my hotel. The cannoli was fresh and decent so 1 star for that. The pizza sauce is strange, a secret ingredient that I couldnt quite put my finger on, but doesnt belong in pizza sauce(almost a slight bbq taste). «fresh» mozzarella is white and doesnt melt greasy the same way dry mozzarella cheese does… nice try Valdiano’s, I shoulda got a Totinos.

Not at all impressed. Cramped seating, slow service, always hot inside. And most of all the pizza and calzones were void of all flavor. I’ve tasted better cardboard. Their sauce recipe needs to change immediately.

Alright, I’m from New Jersey so my definition of good pizza might be a bit different from others, but I didn’t really enjoy the food at this place. We went at dinner time on a weekday, and it was empty(probably should have been a hint), and ordered some food. I honestly forget what my wife got, but I ordered a calzone — good thing I got a normal cheese one that was«made to order», because the daily specials looked like they were sitting there since the morning waiting to be re-heated! As I said, I’m from the north, but that calzone was nothing special at all. I wouldn’t go back and eat it. The only props I give them is that their marina dipping sauce was pretty good. More than likely I won’t be trying their pizza, either. «Best in Orlando»? I hope not, or else I’m in trouble for a good pizza fix!

«Voted Best Pizza in Orlando for 7 Years» HA! Someone please take this AWAY from them! I visited this restaurant after watching a late movie. It’s conveniently located by the theater to snare hungry and wary moviegoers before they even have a chance to run away. When I walked in to the restaurant, I was met with a blast of heat — this place has probably one air conditioning unit, and it does not work. The heat in the restaurant is magnified by the large all-glass front of the restaurant, which absorbs every ray of sun during the day, and the large pizza oven only aims to bake the patrons as well as the pizza. Most of the food runs from $ 3-$ 15 dollars. They have pizza by the slice, whole pizzas, and several pasta dishes. The staff gave mediocre service — they looked as if I was inconveniencing them by placing an order. They were not polite and they didn’t smile. I know working near a pizza oven must be extremely hot, but almost all of the employees were dripping with sweat, including the guy who served my food. If the thought of sweat possibly dripping in to your food doesn’t make your stomach turn, then by all means go here. After waiting about ten minutes, my pizza was presented to me. That’s when the horror began. The pizza was hot(how could anything not be hot in this sauna restaurant?!) and as it turns out, the best way to eat the pizza here is to eat it with a spoon because it is ENORMOUSLYGREASY! The only firm part of my pizza was the crust — it was cracker like. The rest of the pizza fell apart at my touch. I know pepperoni contributes an amount of grease to a pizza, but the crust here is so thin that it absorbs anything and even someone without teeth could have easily eaten this pizza. Trying to eat the pizza in pieces proved to be difficult as the grease made it all slippery, and I ended up with more food on me than in my stomach. Until they figure out how to make a real pizza and not something a four year old probably baked, I will NOT be going back here again.

Valdiano’s has several signs boasting«Voted the best pizza in Orlando 7 years running». There are 4 stores including the one in Lakeland. I found the pizza mediocre on most counts – a 10″(paper plate sized) pizza runs $ 10-expensive in my book. They name their pizzas complex names with odd ingredients, making it hard to know what to get. I chose the«Valdiano»(sausage, pepperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms). The crust is thin – and soggy – and greasy – difficult to hold and everything slides off. Good flavor from the crust, the kind you leave no remnants. I could only taste sausage and peppers. A girlfriend of an employee stayed in the way, hanging on the counters and cold cases – makes not for good service. uncool service, soggy pie, expensive=2 stars, a very mediocre experience – I’m on to other pizza worlds in search of the perfect pie…

We went to Pizzeria Valdiano on a Wednesday night for dinner and a couple of drinks. It’s conveniently located in the Lakeside Village Shopping Area next to Cobb Theaters. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating. The décor is very simple with a few Italian inspired paintings on the walls. The menu includes pizza by the slice, full pizzas, desserts, Stromboli, and bread sticks(there may be other things on the menu, too but they’ve slipped my mind). Pizzeria Valdiano offers many, many different pizza toppings — both traditional and nontraditional. They offer beer and wine as well as Coke products. The service is very prompt and the employees are very friendly and helpful. On this trip we ordered a large cheese pizza. We have found that we have to let the pizza cool and allow the cheese to «settle» before eating. We’ve also had to place napkins on the top of the pizza to soak up some of the grease. But once the pizza is prepped for eating, it’s delicious. The crust is a little thicker than I like but has good flavor overall. The sauce is nearly perfect! I would recommend Valdiano’s to my friends and family.
