Regular! One of the best Asian restaurant in Lakeland area! Much Much better than the Saigon’s in the south-side. Positive– 1. Everything are incredibly inexpensive! the combination Phở is about 7 bucks. Tell me a place you can get that much food for that price! 2. Inside are pretty specious, and no loud noises! 3. Service are incredibly fast! 10 minute was probably the most I had to waited! Negative-I have been here at least 10 times, and I have not any bad experiences!

I went to Lakeland for a concert and stopped by this place for dinner. It defiantly a hidden treasure in Lakeland. I had a combination stir fried crunchy egg noodle. A big plate of fried egg noodle with veget, shrimp, squid, beef, chicken in tasty sauce for $ 8.50. The interior deco is pretty basic and yet the whole place is clean, neat, bright and comfortable. The parking lot looked clean, too. The food, service, pricing are excellent. If people from Tampa familiar with«Saigon Dali», this place has the same good food, same good service, similar good pricing. Plus it got longer menu selection(including kid menu and vegetarian choices) and open longer(7 days, 10 am to 9 pm). This is a wonderful place to try good Vietnamese food in Lakeland.

Don’t be fooled by the exterior. This place is a hole in the wall but I’m so glad I tried it. It was busy when I went for a late lunch so you know that is always a good sign. My friend ordered the chicken pad tai and I ordered #62 which was a rice dish. Both were delicious and so fresh. It tasted so authentic. The spring rolls and dumplings were very tasty as well. Try their lemonade, very refreshing and their coffee was surprisingly delicious. I will definitely be back!

So delicious and super fresh! My hubs got a fried rice dish-I missed the number – and I had phở #35 with seafood and veggies. Both were excellent. Fast service too. We will be back for sure.

Hearty portion of the most authentic Phở you may find in the Eastern US and at a very fair price too(apprx $ 6.50). Having lived near Little Saigon in So Cal for many years gave me access to some of the best Phở(Fa, not Foe) in the USA. This place definitely compares. How surprising for me to find this place in the middle of farm land Central FL. Well done Phở Tan– you guys know how to make authentic Phở.

My husband and I can not get enough of this place!!! We eat here at least twice a week. The owners and staff are delightful and courteous. My husband and I can’t begin to describe how flavorful and delicious EVERY dish is. Every bite is like a fresh new experience. If you are looking for traditional Vietnamese cuisine or wanting to try something new… Phở Tan is the best hands down! We got sick of the same places every week… and are so happy these guys opened up for buisness. Don’t let the location fool you… you wont be let down!

This restaurant is small and tucked away next to an appliance repair shop. I tried the Bön Mi and was impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Their chicken was cooked perfectly. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable. I will return.

YES! This place popped up out of nowhere and I couldn’t be happier! My boyfriend brought me home some shrimp Phở and spring rolls. It was amazing! Though I had some handy dandy saracha rooster sauce on hand. The spring rolls he brought me where a sort of surf and turf with beef brisket and shrimp. They where fantastic! New favorite! And now I don’t half to go all the way down to Saigon Bistro for badass phở.

I was sick and all I could think of was a hot, steaming bowl of phở. I happened to be driving by the Lakeland area so I decided to check Phở Tan out. I got a little excited and ordered quite a bit, but I have zero regrets about that. I started with the summer rolls. They were fresh and contained both pork and shrimp, which I love! I got to the main event, the phở tai that I ordered. The broth was very flavorful and not oily at all! Everything was delicious and there was plenty of meat. So basically, your typical, but perfectly done, bowl of phở. I also ordered a bahn mi to go. I got home and couldn’t actually wait to consume it. I got marinated beef and it was tender and delicious! I was going to share with my friend, but it never made it that far! I would say, that this is definitely one of the better Vietnamese places I’ve been to. I’m eager to try out more of the menu and see that other delicious finds I can make!

Wow so I just went back for the first time in a month and they switched the beard and the banh mi is 10 times better than before. Instead of a thick baguette, their bread is now a thin chewy bread that really compliments the other flavors. I am satisfied.

I remember driving by this place going to see a client of mine and thinking, I bet this place is good. This place deserves a true 5-Star rating for killer food; a TRUE Vietnamese restaurant. Not only do they have the best tasting Vietnamese food we’ve tried outside of Orlando, the prices are super reasonable. No offense to the one by Cobb, but this place has them beat by a long mile for value, authenticity, and quality. This place isn’t fancy, but you won’t care after you start eating. We get our usual vermicelli /rice paper rolls with shrimp and pork… perfectly wrapped mind you. Tasty! 3 of us ordered vermicelli bowls: beef, egg rolls(omg!), and grilled shrimp. These bowls were huge and packed with tasty veg and other goodies. You pour your fish sauce over it all and Sriracha if you can handle that. My youngest ordered a very kid friendly, man sized plate of beef fried rice; all devoured happily. They have a ridiculously diverse menu, so we’re going to go back tomorrow. :) Their beef tendon soup and seafood soup looked above par. Look forward to trying those. We are very lucky to have them here in Lakeland, and we’re happy that another place has opened that prevents us from having to venture outside of town.

Guess I’m not very adventurous, I ordered pad Thai. It was delicious. So many items on the menu, and I’m not familiar with Vietnamese food. Next time I’ll try something else. Ambience not great, but we weren’t looking for anything fancy. Only had one cook and one waitress the night we went, both of whom apologized profusely for the wait. It was worth it! Great prices too, $ 50 for three with appetizers? Can’t beat it. SO happy to see places like this in Lakeland, the chain restaurants are over represented here.

Written two months after establishment’s opening: Building isn’t near a bad neighborhood, but the neighborhood is definitely run down. Interior should be remodeled, once they get their business running well — you can see the former shadow of a Chinese restaurant on the glass in the front of the building(the decals from the former restaurant are visible when the sun is hitting correctly). That said, it is kept clean, well lit, and it is not off-putting to eat here. I care primarily about food and not the looks or area surrounding an establishment, but some people prefer to know about these things beforehand. Area and interior issues aside, let me tell you about the food. The food, in a word — fantastic. I’ve been here about five times in the past three weeks and have ordered a large variety of dishes from the menu for myself and my family, they were not disappointed nor was I. I can safely recommend any of the ph, fried rice, lemon grass dishes, or the spring/egg rolls(the spring rolls in particular are very large and an order of four could easily serve as an entire meal). The owners and cooks clearly have a passion for their cuisine and it shows. One very minor quibble, I prefer a bit of fish sauce with my ph and they didn’t have it available for take out. I look forward to seeing if this establishment can keep up the quality that they have won me over with. If so, I will continue to come back almost weekly, I suggest very highly that you give it a few chances. Ratings out of 10: Food: 10 Atmosphere: 5 Area: 5 Service: 9 Recommended Dishes: (Note: I only recommend the #13 ph because all of the others are variations upon this, #13 has everything, all the others are missing a few ingredients people may not enjoy — tendons, tripe, etc.) #2 #3 #5 #12 #13 #43 #61 #77 #82

Phở Tan, a small sit down & take out eatery, is directly across from S&L. Phở’s menu is extensive, delightfully written in Vietnamese with English subtitles. Service was swift, my order was cooked quickly and served hot. Entrees run $ 7-$ 10. It’s open 7 days, 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Each meal easily serves two. Very helpful waitress in deciding between dishes. Lots of Asian home cooking! I’ve had their Tofu Pad Thai — loved it – came with lime to squeeze over the peanuts, sprouts, noodles.(Spring onions a little hot.) Also had the steak phở. YUM. Fresh basil, sprouts to add as you wish. Spicy or hoisin are on the table to be added to your liking. The soft rice wrap summer rolls were delish tho I prefer mine without pork, just the shrimp & veggies. The pork sandwich was«okay», I found the bread too crusty but the filling flavorful. I also liked the fried rice and a rice noodle vegetarian dish. They do tofu well, too. If you don’t know what to order, try #20 or #26(steak soup!) Try the boba Thai tea, too! April 2015 update. They’ve been discovered and are often crowded at noon, slowing things down. They had to fix our order twice due to waiter’s(lack of) English. Part of the charm but be prepared to go with the flow! Your tastebuds will thank you.

I went to this restaurant with my family for dinner last night and was very impressed. It recently opened a few weeks ago so was not too busy, and the interior décor is more of a «mom and pop» style shop. Don’t judge by the outside, make sure to give it a try because the food is authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced. In addition, the owners were friendly and made sure we were happy with our food :) — Phở– the combination phở came steaming hot with generous portion of meat and noodles for around $ 8 – 9 — Com(rice dish) — came with a fried egg, veggies on the side, rice, and your choice of meat. Also around $ 7 – 8 — Egg rolls & Spring rolls– very fresh, good quantity of shrimp and pork in the spring rolls that came with peanut dipping sauce! Priced around $ 2 – 4 — Rice vermicelli dish– large quantity, came with egg rolls, and your choice of meat, also around $ 7 – 8 We are happy and excited to see another authentic Vietnamese restaurant open in Lakeland. Given the price, food quality, and friendly service, I would give this place an A+ and come back here again the next time I’m in town.
