Best pizza I’ve had so far in polk county. It’s so good you will wish you ordered more. I’ve tried a pasta dish from here as well and it was also yummy .the service is always fast and the price is fair. Keep up the good work!

Great food, but the last three times we’ve been it’s extremely hot in the restaurant. Last time we actually left and went to a neighboring restaurant in the plaza!

Not cheap but really good by-the-slice pizzeria. We try to come here at least once a month. They will cut a slice into a grid of squares for kids on request, which is easier for them to eat. My favorite here is the rustica, but they don’t always have it made.

Worst ever, I had to bring it back and get refund! I have order calzones from them in the past, and always gotten them freshly baked from the oven. I phoned in order as usual, but when I got home, I had an oil soaked box and a calzone leaking cheese that was like a wet sponge! I could not even lift it out of the box without the use of a spatula. I returned the item and learned they are now made in advance and microwaved! If I want microwave, I’ll take something out of my freezer(oh wait, I myself aren’t even that bad, and would use my oven instead.

Excellent!!! Maybe the best folded pizza I’ve ever had(I had the meat lovers). My mother had the soup of the day which was large, hot, tasty, and served with a delicious bread stick. As my mother said, each prepared slice looked better than the next. While I can only review these two items, I can’t rave about this place enough! Wish I wasn’t here on a stop on a long ride as I’ll never come back to taste their beautiful pan pizza, deep dish options, or classics like spinach and sausage white pizza! Kudos to these guys, yum!

IFYOU’RECRAVINGGREATPIZZA, COMEHERE. Excellent service, great pizza. We eat pizza here about two-three times a month. The only critique is the amount of toppings, we love sausage. Sometimes just ordering sausage loads the pizza(love it); sometimes ordering extra sausage still doesn’t load the pizza. But you get that sort of thing at a real, family owned italian place. Their Tiramisu and cannolis are fantastic. The dough is great, the sauce is good. We like a little seasoning on our pizza after it comes out of the oven. There is a guy at the to-go pick up window. He is the kindest, nicest worker you’ll meet. Always willing to help you get what you want. I even heard him help a guy order fresh thinly-sliced lemons on his pizza. When Papajohns down the road started charging 16 dollars for a one topping pizza delivered before tip, we switched to this place. Normally a 16 inch large 1-topping pizza is $ 14.70ish. You can’t be it. They don’t deliver but that’s okay. It’s nice to get great food(but more toppings! :)), and know that you are supporting a local business. The buffalo wings are good for being oven baked. We’ve never eaten in before, we want to, just haven’t gotten around to it. They used to have a coupon where if you eat in you get 50% off the second entrée. I work in downtown Lakeland by another palace pizza. Some say that it is the best pizza in town. I eat there every so often for lunch. I beg to differ. At the north 98 location you get excellent pizza and great service without a wait. Eat here.

This restaurant is run by a family of Italians who have stores on Kentucky Avenue(the first store), Main Street(Bartow), a more upscale version on S. Florida(called«The Palace»), and this Highland City location. Pizza pies, calzones, and the like, sit on pizza stands for you to select by the slice. Sometimes the pizza is yum, sometimes it is «blah». I don’t know if it’s me or how long the pizza has been out. Sometimes their garlic knots melt in your mouth, sometimes they’re hard as a rock. I do enjoy their spaghetti and manicotti. A favorite salad is «the Palace Salad», a spring mix of greens with warmed goat cheese and balsamic. I also like their tiramisu and canolis in the cold case. I like the ambiance of «real Italians» taking my order. Consistency of product would up the stars.(and the upscale restaurant on South Florida is definitely of higher caliber). Also wish they’d improve the awkwardness of ordering behind a glass where you can’t see the order-taker and moving six feet to the register to pay.
