My favorite store ever! I always find the cutest décor, pictures frames & cool statement pieces. And the floral dept is awesome! Great quality & price. The store is always near & clean! It’s worth the drive from Riverview everytime!

I absolutely LOVE hobby lobby. I have found so many thing in there that I love and the store really bring out my creative side! The only thing that I would improve upon is the check out. The cashiers have to manually type everything in versus scanning it. This process is very time consuming and it is very easy for the lines to get backed up. However, I can’t find it in my heart to give this place less than 5 stars because I love it so much and everyone is super nice.

After several visits and 3 years I am updating my review and adding a star to A-OK. The store is vast and clean and certainly a hobbyist’s paradise. I have bought many an artificial flower here(when they are half off) and spent big money on things related to stamps and scrapbooking. Watching and learning their sales practices is helpful – sections go up to half off periodically.(I prefer stores with one low price and no silly sale games, coupons, etc, personally. I think their furniture is always 30% off – if so, they should just mark it with the true price don’t you think?) They have many cute décor items. While another reviewer doesn’t feel I should take points for the parking lot mayhem, it is part of the overall consumer experience here and some might like to know of the redneck double parkers in front of the store, the lack of consideration offered in the tight aisles and turns and the lengthy distance often required to get INTO the store. I have never found a salesperson on the floor for help and some of the cashiers are slow to ring people through and slower to call for back-up help. True hobbyists won’t mind the obstacles to shopping here. Everyone else develops a personal technique for getting in and out with as little wear and tear as possible.

My favorite place to just walk around and see what creativity jumps into my head. I only wish they would price things for what they’re selling it for. Marking things 40−60% off everyday doesn’t make sense. Just make the price lower to begin with!

Wish there was one closer to Brandon, but at least it is not to far. A buying tip: it seems like at least once a month everything in the store will go on sale(even if it is only one week). Why pay full price if you can wait it out. Just keep an eye on the circular and soon you will see it on sale. The prices are the same as other craft stores. But other craft stores do not have the selection of knick knack and wall stuff as Hobby Lobby has. They use an archaic register system. They have to manually enter the sale prices after ringing up the item. Make sure you pay close attention to avoid paying full price on a sale item. Great store, it is organized a little different than the store in Charlotte NC, but after walking around a bit we found what we were looking for and extra stuff.

I love this store! The first one I ever visited was in North Carolina with my Mother in Law and I fell in love! When I passed this one in Lakeland the other day I was so excited! It is like Home Good and JoAnn Fabrics in one! I could spend hours and hours in this store. I has everything any crafter could imagine and then some.

I guess if what you’re looking for is pictures and frilly flowers and things like this this would be a good store to go but I thought Hobby Lobby had like rockets and all kinds of man hobby stuff this is strictly strictly a woman’s paradise just not for me but nice store hahaha

As craft and hobby stores in Lakeland go, this one is the best. Michael’s is a close second, but they don’t have fabric and their customer service repeatedly leaves something to be desired, so… This HUGE store is well organized and clean, and has a great selection of craft, hobby, home décor items, etc. The employees that I have interacted with are polite and helpful, and take you to the item you are looking for instead of just pointing in the general direction(which I’ve experienced in competitors stores.) Check online for a 40% off of one item coupon before you go. There is one each week in their ads or online! You can print it out or show it to them on your smart phone — they accept either method, which is very handy! I am THRILLED that Hobby Lobby is in Florida now, and even more ecstatic that they put one in Lakeland. In response to the other review — Hobby Lobby moved into the old AMC Theater space, so the parking lot was already laid out and«there» before they arrived. There is nothing they could do to change the parking situation — any issues/complaints should be directed at the shopping center, rather than a store that rents space there. Also, as stated at the beginning of said other review, you can’t base a rating on Black Friday. I haven’t been in a store or parking lot yet that can handle that mess and madness, which is why I just stay home and shop on other, less chaotic, days.
