A regular spot for my wife and me. Taylor is one of the best servers I’ve encountered in any restaurant. The entire staff is inviting and never disappointed in any way with our dining experience.

Harry’s has fast become one of my very favorite restaurants in the Lakeland area. The food is always good and the service is the same. You won’t go wrong at Harry’s. !!

Always one of my consistent favorites. Jambalaya and chocolate bread pudding. Those are your best bet. No matter where you go, the food quality is the same at Harry’s. Bön appetite!

Giving it 5 stars because our cocktails, service and food was wonderful. Almost walked away as it was noisy outside with plastic chairs at the tables and they were all right on top of each other. Went ahead and Put our name in for a 10 minutes wait for inside seating and went in to check it out. Downstairs bar was packed so we went upstairs. Very different atmosphere up there. Got drinks right away and had the bartender change our table choice to upstairs. Only about 15 tables up there and much more enjoyable for dining.

Place was busy at lunch which is a good thing. Was able to walk in and get seated for one around 12:45pm. I only had 30 minutes to eat so I was in a hurry and my waitress was perfect. Ordered the crawfish étouffée and it was good. I expected it to be more spicy than it was but none the less it was ok. The étouffée was chocked full of crawfish so every bite has some in it. I really liked the bread they brought out which I used to sop up the sauce. All in all, a decent experience and would go back again but try something different next time.

I was in town on business and had a $ 30 gift card for here, I was starving, so I figure I may as well try it out. I visited on a Saturday 5:00 PM-ish in late April 2016. It was nearly full at this time, so I optioned to sit at the bar. The bartender was a rockstar, I mean she was doing five things at once constantly the whole time I was there. I ordered the jambalaya which comes with fresh warm bread & butter as an appetizer. Order was taken quickly and food arrived quickly as well. The atmosphere was pleasant & upbeat with a nice variety of people. This is a popular place for a reason. The food was great, nice and spicy, just the way I like it. It was also a very hearty potion and I was barely able to finish it, which is rare for me. When I was leaving the place it was really packed, I mean it was difficult to get out, kinda packed. Overall, it’s a nice place just a little overcrowded(at least at that time) I have about half the card still available, so I shall return.

Everything about this place is awesome! Curtis was our server and he was so nice. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely ask for him next time. The chicken and grits were DELICIOUS. It had such a great flavor. I will definitely make a trip up here again sometime! And be sure to save room for the banana fosters… sooo good!

Stoppped here for a quick lunch. This was our first visit, it will not be our last. From the warm greeting as we entered the restaurant to a heartfelt Thank you for visiting with us, at the end of the meal. This restaurant is a keeper. After being seated, our server appeared quickly and with a smile. Never a bad start. The menu is loaded with New Orleans cuisine which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the Red Beans and Rice with smoked sausage and the Chicken Blonde. Both dishes were tasty. The Red Beans were fairly authentic just missing a little more heat. The Chicken Blonde had a very good basil cream sauce that had a much appreciated kick of heat. The side of grilled grit cakes were wonderful. We plan to visit for dinner with friends soon.

True New Orleans flavors experienced here. Had cup of Gumbo with just the right touch of heat, then the Crawfish Etouffe which were perfectly cooked in a true sauce obviously made from scratch. Wife had the She Crab soup which was creamy and had a good touch of Sherry. Then the Chicken and Grits which comes with collards and a tasso cream sauce. Would be happy to have everything again!

I ordered the Shrimp & Scallops Orleans(Not Henry style — sorry). The dish came with collard greens and crispy grits. First of all, I don’t care for greens, but these were pretty good(if I’d read the menu I’d have expected them). The crispy grits were yummy — ½ inch thick triangles of grits(with flavor) deep fried to a crunchy brown. What could be bad? The sauce over the dish was rich and had a decent spice to it. The shrimp & scallops? Boiled maybe, or steamed? and then thrown on top of the dish. No flavor in them. My friend had Chicken Jolie Blonde which was pretty good. It also came with the crunchy grits. We shared a Caesar salad which he thought was very good. I thought it was over-dressed but had a nice flavor. Our waitress was really busy but she was good and attentive, and took good care of us. I didn’t love this place, but if someone really wanted to come here I wouldn’t say no, but I’d definitely order something different.

Friendly service. Large menu. Good food. Three of the dishes in our party of six came out about 5 minutes before the other three. The place is a little run down but is still a sold three for the food and service.

Great food — good selection. A little disorganized when complicated orders or large groups, but in the end all was figured out and left happy and full

First time we went to Harry’s it was because we really like Harry’s in Detroit. This is way different. We stopped in to meet up with my friend’s old room mate who she had not seen for 40 some years(thanks Facebook). the happy hour is pretty amazing, especially the happy hour sizes which are still amazingly large. We had jambalaya and beans and rice and smoked sausage. On top of that we had a coupon for a free appetizer we picked up at the Tiger spring training game. We sat outside and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was really, really nice and very patient with us as we were catching up and needed lots of time. Everything was great, now we have two Harry’s to like.

From drinks to main dishes to dessert to the service. This place has it ALL. We are here on business from all over the US. For our appetizers we ordered the Mussels, Fried pickles, calamari, and shrimp. It was all incredible. Then our main dishes came out: I ordered the shrimp and crawfish pot pie with a side or sweet corn grits. It exceeded my expectations and my tastebuds were happy. Everyone’s main dishes were incredible as well. The oreo beignets were the icing to the whole night. Our server Taylor had the southern hospitality and made us feel very welcome. She had great recommendations and didn’t even flinch or give us a dirty look when we asked to split the check 5 ways. Overall we will always recommend this place when were in the area. Thank you for a wonderdul experience.

I hate being the debbie downer but this place was a bit spendy and conventional for me. The she crab soup was so thick and creamy I didn’t want to eat it after a spoonful. And any crab in there is lost in the artery clogging deep white ferment. The lump crab and eggplant tower was better but I’m a strict old fashioned foodie and I dont like giant inedible sprigs of anything sticking out of my food(in this case it was rosemary). Unless it’s tasty and edible don’t put it on my plate. The good news is that this a large and comfortable classic right in the heart of downtown Lakeland across from Munn Park. They have a comfortable interior and a nice patio. They were very accomodating and friendly to us and our naughty dog. Everyone I saw here was happy to be here and enjoying their food. I just prefer more unusual and intense flavors. I really wanted to try Tom’s out in the boonies, $ 5.99 for a meal. And the menu and offerings here just didn’t excite me any more than the prices. Sorry Harry!!!

Been here several time now. The service and food are very good. The crab cakes are great. I had the holiday trio tonight filet medallions with fried lobster and shrimp with a sherry sauce. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. Steak was really good, lobster abit chewy. shrimp good. Had the shrimp etouffe in the past was outstanding! One of the finer restaurants in Lakeland. Also for being a bit crowed the service was excellent.!!
