Hampton Inn – Lakeland

The room was very clean and quiet. Conveniently close to stores and restaurants. Didn’t use the pool or gym but looked nice. Will stay here again

The staff here is awesome. Rodney is a ray of sunshine. Very pleasant personality. I asked for extra toiletries and the next day I didn’t have to ask. They left extra in my room. My bed was clean, you can tell the sheets were just put on the bed.

Always wonderful and courteous staff. Wonderful breakfast each day. Very very clean rooms. The location is perfect and right off the highway but without the noise and in a good area.

I stayed here once again. They’re updating the hotel with new décor. It’s going to be nice. The place was also cleaner this time. I liked that.

Whenever I visit Lakeland I always stay here. The rooms are very clean and they have a unique smell. The price isn’t bad either. The staff is awesome.
Bonus: There’s an Applebees right next door and it’s right off of I-​4 between Orlando and Tampa.

Great hotel. The free breakfast offering was very good, which included waffles (there is a waffle iron — you make them yourself), biscuits and gravy, real oatmeal (not the packaged/​instant kind), yogurt, fruit, muffins, bagels, cereal, juice, coffee, etc.
The room was very clean upon arrival, and was well taken care of throughout my stay. The drain in the shower was clogged the first day, but housekeeping fixed it promptly without the need to report it. There were plenty of towels every day in the bathroom, and it was very clean and fresh looking. The beds were very firm, so if you prefer a pillow top you probably won’t like these much. The temperature control in the room worked well, just the typical electric type on the wall, but I didn’t feel the need to adjust it constantly to be comfortable.
A few perks I really liked (aside from free breakfast): I had some flyers that needed to be photocopied for a trade show, the front desk made them free of charge! The business center came in handy, equipped with a computer and printer. Free wifi in the room was fantastic, and to my surprise, quite fast. Free parking, and plenty of it near the door closest to my room. The pool was mostly empty, until the later hours of the night and the chairs were quite comfortable. I didn’t watch the TV so I can’t comment on that, but the channel selection was quite nice. It included a few movie channels and ESPN. The shower head had several settings, and it was very high up (for you taller folks — you’d love it!)
I am in general, a hotel snob. I prefer staying at high-​end hotels, only because I like a comfy bed and clean place to sleep. I felt this hotel was more than accommodating for my needs. I would definitely stay here again, if ever I’m back in town.

Great late night place to rest our head! We stopped here after being exhausted on a road trip, It was right off the highway, had an easy cash payment option with no credit card deposit needed. Sweet and simple!
