Fantastic neighborhood hardware store with knowledgeable, dedicated staff. They always have that little oddity that you can’t find elsewhere. Extensive gift section of quality items. Wonderful outdoor supplies (birdfeeders, seed, gardening items). Lots of key masters and a good selection of sugar-​free candies. Whether you’re searching for a specific gizmo or spending a rainy afternoon, this is a great stop! (Once I bought an item too large for my trunk and a manager allowed a clerk to run it to my nearby house! You don’t find «neighborly» treatment like that any more!) I’ll be a customer for life!
⁸⁄₂₀₁₅ update. I had a miserable 2 star experience today. Three clerks passed me before one said «may I help you find something». They have ramps down to the lower level but merchandise packs the ramps so that the railing is unavailable (ADA would have a great time with that!) They send a $ 5 off coupon periodically but put in VERY tiny writing «with $ 30 purchase». Multiple items with no prices on them. Register clerk was very frustrating and clueless but I survived and got out the door. Won’t change my rating yet.
