What can I say that Jason D. hasn’t already? I think he covered everything. The were three different food trucks. Well, one was a coffee truck. The food was good, and decently priced. On top of that, there was a fresh squeezed lemonade stand, and a shaved ice stand. The live music started at noon, and had three featured artists. There was a good amount of seating, but a lot of it was in the Sun. That would be my only complaint, more shade. On a positive note, they were giving away free freshly printed t-shirts! They ran out before I could get a chance to get there, but next time! There were lots of artists, featuring lots of their art. Everything from dead bloody animals, to bright, colorful abstract paintings, to sculptures and mixed media. Even the NOMAD art bus was there letting kids paint their bus. Fun times! Also, the Polk Museum of Art was open and free! I went in to use the facilities, and it was nice and clean! I walked around and checked out a little bit of the art, and that made me want to check out the rest of the museum. Overall, it was a great time, with great friends! I can’t wait to go back next year!

This was a great event to attend with local vendors, food trucks, and live music being included. The event was free and fun. Special thanks to fellow Unilocaler Chad C for inviting us to this event that was coordinated by his wife. Chad C handled the live music portion while his wife roamed the vendors to ensure they were taken care of. Thank you to fellow Unilocalers Puii and Bo W for attending as well. The art ranged from inexpensive $ 5-$ 15 prints to expensive masterpieces in the thousands. There was a wide array of paintings, sketches, photography, and creative pieces to choose from. The food trucks were not bad at all. Jimmy’s famous seafood truck was the king of the 3. The food is delicious and different than others. The only things I would improve is to include more seating in the shade, due to it being hot outside with the sun blazing down and a wider variety of food trucks and drinks available. There was a kettle corn station, lemonade stand, and slushy vendor as well. I was able to snag up a painting print for $ 40. It was extremely creative, vibrant, and caught my eye as soon as I saw it. Thank you for a great event!
