So I have to admit… Usually the closest I get to a fish is when its seared, roasted, steamed, fried, sashimi-ed on my plate. Someone here decides that while we are in the great outdoors, we must fish and live off of the land. Now I’ve been fishing when I was youger but that constituted of my uncle baiting the line and me watching and yelling when it was nibbled. Thank goodness for the store. The owner, Bryan was nice enough to rent us two of his poles and armed with his knowledge, off we went. With the live minnows he sold in the store, we were hauling in bass after bass. It was like taking candy from a baby. Unfortunately with all this fishing it meant that we had to kill and filet these suckers. Not fun. But if you’re in this part of town, stop in for some friendly fishing advice and supplies!
