St Matthew Lutheran School & Preschool

We LOVE St. Matthew school!
Originally, we looked into this school because (to be honest) they had full-​day kindergarten. We had looked at a couple of other places already, and we hadn’t really been wowed, so to speak, so we weren’t too hopeful when we walked in.
We should have been. The moment we walked in, they treated us like family. The staff were warm, personable, and loving from day one. We’ve been here for 3 years, now, and we’re about to start our second child next year.
The program here is excellent, and the children are held to higher standards than those of the local public schools. Our older son is academically advanced but socially immature, and they have modified their curriculum for him without trying to push him into an advanced grade, which would be awkward and frustrating for him. He loves going to school so much that, when he’s off for break, he constantly tells us when he gets to go back again! I can’t think of a higher compliment that kids preferring school to vacation.
