I’m back! Love this place. I’m always looking for better but have not found it. The price here is also a factors as they are inexpensive.

This is the second time this place Don Jose has ripped me off! There is a list of lunch specials on the menu for $ 5.99. Nowhere in the menu does it say that they are for different days. When I got the bill for my chicken they charged me $ 7.99 not $ 5.99. When I showed the menu to the waitress she told me that there was only one special today and I didn’t choose it! She then walked away from me to avoid talking about this. This is a plain and simple rip off! I will not be going back to the bait and switch Cuba Restaurant called Don Jose in Lake Worth.

Dined here a couple of days ago for lunch. Good service, limited English. Food was tasty and affordable, but the portions left something to be desired. Would definitely try it again just based on the price. If you’re in the area and looking for good cheap Cuban food, I would recommend it.

Amazing pork sandwich and tostones were good too. Ambience, not much to talk about, have to communicate in Spanish and service isn’t the fastest I’ve come across. But having said that Id definitely go back for a pork sandwich, this time id learn a thing or two about Spanish :)

Stopped in for a to go Cuban sandwich, beans, rice, and an empanada on Jul 31. Very good food and nice staff. Atmosphere is similar to a toned down diner. The staff here does not speak English… but the menu is bilingual. Next time I will get the roasted pork. I have a feeling that dish will be good. Prices are very competitive. I will definitely return.

When in south Florida it’s a must to chow on some Cuban food. So many places to pick in Miami, but where to go in west palm beach? Don Ramons if u want a sit down dinner & Tulipans for lunch & take out are the two most popular in the town. Well today I drove by this spot and gave it a shot. It’s a real dive, maybe not the place you take someone to celebrate an anniversary. Its super authentic & delicious though! Sit at the counter & order the café con leche, classic Cuban sandwich, and add their hot sauce! You’ll have to use your Spanish vocab for some things, like ask for«picante», if you want the hot sauce. When I say this place is authentic, I mean the servers knew very little English, which just makes the food taste even better! Another note, order their unique smoothies. The one with wheat cereal & milk was a sweet treat.
