The service was sub par. We waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to approach us after we were told to seat ourselves. No big deal — it gets worse.
I ordered a beef burrito and my partner the «Ropa Vieja,» which is a shredded beef dish. What she received was three fork fulls of unseasoned beef in a soupy broth. My burrito was similar in taste and texture to taco bell (without that pesky low price) and re-​fried beans that tasted like they came from a can — it gets worse.
We ordered 3 drinks, two of them margaritas. They were OK, more ice than anything but that’s typical, then we get the bill!
Aye, ya yay…(I screamed in a Mexican accent… not really) Almost $ 70! For this food? It tasted like it was out of a can and they just throw cheese on it so they can call it «Mexican.»
And, I’m still hungry, I thought.
With the few dollars we had left, we went somewhere else for desert. Our hunt for good Mexican food in Florida continues.

The food was delicious, but when it comes to authenticity of ingredients, it came short. Being Mexican myself, I was able to identify which products were store bought/​refrigerated.

Staff is great. The owner knows are names and takes time to make our favorite homemade margaritas every time we come in. Check it out.

I walked over from the bank while waiting for paperwork, the lady’s were nice and let me sit at the bar. She asked if I wanted the tv on and tried to accommodate me best she could. There wasn’t a lot of people but they still were very pleasant. I ordered chicken enchilada dinner, while waiting they brought out some of the best chips and salsa I have ever had. I have tried a lot of Mexican digs and these are great, tortilla chips were hot fresh and not burnt, salsas were cool refreshing and the small red cup was just hot enough for this gringo. The entrée was good enough to be gone in about 5 minutes. The only reason I gave 4 stars was I’m afraid it was so good there might be msg in it, it’s been around 2.5 hours and only a mild headache so could be chips and salsa withdrawals!

Good chips, salsa, guac. The meat quality tasted real good and flavorful. I tried all combo of chicken, streak and ground beef. All were real good. Wednesday night they had live music which was cool.
Yellow rice, refried beans and corn tortilla’s were a little bland.

We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks. Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. This place will go on our regular list of good food. We will be back!

Walked into this restaurant and got grilled by the girl at the register. There was no smile just a blank stare. Looking to my left I noticed only 1 patron present eating. Quite odd for a 2pm lunch rush. As I got closer to the register the stare continued. I ask for a menu and one was placed down right in front of me. The girl walked away right after the menu was placed down. 7 minutes pass and I’m getting frustrated as there was no one t be found. I looked through the kitchen doors and see grilla talking to the other employees. I’m ready to walk out at this point. A total of 10 minutes it took for the girl to come back. I placed my order for the chillie rellonos. Glad I waited, food was great. only reason why I gave such a bad review was the service. If on the fence to come back or not but if you would love to receive a frightening stare as you approach the register the food is worth it.

The service was very good. Yolanda is a good waitress. Very attentive. The 99 cent margarita on Tuesday night was perfect. I had tbe burritp with ground beef. It wss delicious. My Mom had a steak burrito. It was very tasty. MY Dad had the cheese burrito. It was also very good. We were very happy with everything. And did i mention the margaritas were very good. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

We love this place. Everything we have ordered has been great. That must be why we keep on coming back.

Love Casa Linda! We go here for all of our friends birthdays. Food is great and you can’t beat the 99cent margaritas on Tuesdays. We’ve always been treated well by the staff. Highly recommend you check it out.

Food was horrible and over priced. Service was not good neither. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

We were the last customers came in, but food still tasted so fresh and yummy. Surprising!!! Everyone is very nice and polite I found a hidden gem in Lake Worth area.

The owner is very nice and truly appreciates your business. Good food, drinks and service. They would be a lot busier if they were in a better location… like out on 441. Wednesday nights they have a very good mariachi band. Definitely worth checking out.

The food I love, the service at this «new» location however, has a lot to be desired. I just have one word — nitwits.
We went to this location on Lake Worth Rd because we had a Groupon… From now on we’ll stick to the one in Boynton on Congress.

The salsa had a strange sour flavor like it had been sitting out too long, the enchilada sauce literally tasted like plain tomato sauce out of a can, and the beans were runny. I did not like it at all.

Good food, service is pretty slow though.
Mariachi band on Wednesdays

Wow. From the salsa to the margarita to the service to the food. Amazing. Probably close the best Mexican food in my area. So glad I found this spot. I am not sure if it’s new it just tucked back but there was no wait time. The waitress was attentive and helpful. I have found out New Mexican place. The homemade salsa… We went through 3 refils, and they offer a spicy version also. I’m not a spicy chick, my husband is and he loved it.

A lovely family owned business which I eaten at for several years at both locations. Groupon has brought us to this location. Good fresh salsa guacamole and very tasty food. Great Mexican food. You can’t go wrong.

Went out for a quick bite before my New Years Eve festivities and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is clean, well laid-​out and nicely lit. My party was greeted warmly by the staff and quickly seated in a booth we chose.
We were given warm tortilla chips and 2 salsas, one regular and one a little spicy. I enjoyed them both. Our server was prompt and courteous. We all ordered requisite margaritas and were happy with the results.
We all ordered chicken fajitas with refried beans and yellow rice. The orders were prepared quickly and served to us hot and still frying in the fajita pans. Mmmm, they smelled great and tasted even better. It’s been a while since I have had fajitas that good.
The chicken and peppers and onions were perfectly cooked and authentically Mexican. The refried beans and rice were piping hot, and accompanied the warm tortillas and sides of sour cream, cheese, and salsa.
From the owners to the greeters to our server, the atmosphere was cordial and warm. Our server knew the menu well and was quick to offer us tips about our orders. I was impressed with this meal from start to finish.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice dining experience, and I can’t wait to go back. I look forward to sampling the enchiladas and appetizers and will write another review when I visit again.

I think maybe the $ 0.99 margaritas are swaying the other reviews. We ordered take out from this location based on the Unilocal reviews. I’ve never been so mislead. This is NOT Mexican Food.
First, this is not Mexican food. I grew up in Los Angeles, have a timeshare in Mexico and as former Vice Presidential candidate Mr. Benson would say, «I know Mexican food, you sir are not Mexican food.»
We ordered 2 chimichangas to go. 1 Carne Asada and 1 pollo Asada. To gringos, that means grilled steak and chicken. First, they didn’t fry the chimichangas, so they were more a burrito. Second, the chicken was boiled, not grilled. Third, the chicken tasted terrible. Fourth, the beans were horrible. Fifth, it was not Mexican rice. It was yellow Cuban rice. Fifth, everything was way over salted.
Just to be clear, there is no way they Misunderstood the order of Asada, my wife spoke Spanish too them to place the order. To top it off, when my wife asked about chips with the order (which came to $ 27 for two chimichanga) she was told it comes with some but if you want extra you have to pay. Well, the free chips you couldn’t even hold in one hand.
Unfortunately, the only item we ate was the grilled steak from the one order and the few chips. Everything else was horrible. Not sure how this place has been in business for 20 years. It must be the drinks. If they were located in California or any part of the southwest, they would have closed 19.5 years ago.
Amending next day:
My wife spent all night in the bathroom. Very unpleasant. I have not felt well but not as bad as her. I checked the Florida Business Inspector website and wished I had checked before going. Earlier this year they had «major» violations. Lesson Learned, I will check the Florida Dept of Business & Professional Regulation inspections before trying a new restaurant. :(
