With a glut of pizzas available in NEPA, it’s hard to be competitive. It’s a tough market(no doubt). This particular location in Lake Winola has been series of failed pizza shops over the years. Even still, to hit the mediocre spot where people keep returning, all you need is a basic cheesy slice with a nice acidic sauce, and some play in the crust. Here, the slices are watery/soggy, really dense, and totally tasteless. We ordered a whole pie. We each tried a slice … we each threw out our slice(and the rest of the pie). If you are at the lake and seeking«good» pizza(not great but good), head north to Pompeii’s pizza in Tunkhannock(hits all of the above qualifications). It’s about twenty minutes away and you will be thankful for the tip.(Dino and Francesco’s in Clarks Summit is a distant second place to Pompeii’s … it, too is about twenty minutes away). Skip this one.

Not good. Just not good. Ordered a pizza with grilled chicken because I saw it on the menu. Got a pizza with some snasty shredded chicken(tasted like a was at least a week old). I mean the pizza places in this spot used to be pretty good. This place though this might actually be the worst pizza I have ever had; its disgusting, my girlfriend and I couldn’t even finish a slice. If you want to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort I would advise to avoid this one. This pizza tasted like month old prego sauce, at least a week old dried old shredded chicken and Burnt cheese. Oh yeah it cost 16 dollars too :(
