This is by far the worst subway I have ever been to and it’s sad because it’s such a convenient location on my way home. First, I have never seen more than 1 person working at a time. This is obviously a problem because it causes extremely long wait times to get a sub. Even if I am the only one there it is still a 10min+ ordeal. Second, they don’t make the subs correctly. Every Time I have been here I get home and my sub sandwich is like a rolled ball with all the ingredients in the fold of the bread and it ends up eating like a hotdog. Third, they are out of bread ALLTHETIME! I like Italian herb and cheese and in several instances they only had wheat. Really? Worthless. Fourth, I don’t know their hours. I have stopped at 7:45pm and the lights were off and doors locked. That’s a bit early to close on a weekday. It’s just not good. Needs new management and/or owners

Seem to make their own hours and close whenever they feel like it. Like others have noted I went in there last week and they only had wheat bread. Pass on this one.

Ok I have to say how disappointed I am with this location. Round lake beach is one hundred times better. The last two times I came into lake villa subway, the sandwich maker was either rude and wanted us to hurry up and get out or they were out of bread! How do you run out of bread?! This was a weekend too. Also, they were out of a couple sauces that people like to add to their subs. If your going to do business and list that you have all these types of breads, you better have them. To conclude, I also must say that they are skimpy with the meat. All I usually taste when I eat a sub is just veggies or bread. Head a few miles up the road and go to jersey mikes. You will not be disappointed, mark my words.

This place sucks. I’ve been here a few times, and they have failed each and every one. Want soup? We’re out! Want a Seafood and Crab? Sorry! Can I get that on Honey Wheat? None made! The only thing consistent at this location is a heaping, ready-made serving of FAIL. This evening I took my kids out of a quick have-a-coupon necessity… same BS as always, items were unavailable. To add insult to injury their soda machine wasn’t assembled properly and I now have Cherry Coke syrup splattered all over a new white shirt. And so I’ve been inspired to Unilocal some help. Skip this hole and drive a few blocks in any direction to the next Subway instead. If 0 stars were an option, that would be the score.

If you’ve been to one Subway, you’ve been to all of them. Since it’s a chain, they have to adhere to standards. Now, that just leaves one intangible and that would be the help. Do they bake the bread properly? Do they add the variable ingredients the same way? At any rate, for the month of December, there are $ 2.00 subs. A meatball and a cold cut. The meatball I find has enough meat in it to at least satisfy an appetite. Most of the subs though are mostly full of lettuce and other fillers that make it look big. I usually end up hungry, even after a footlong. But at $ 2.00, I will eat here.
