I live in the subdivision and have been coming here for over 15yrs. I heard they were under new management as of last summer (2015). We stopped here yesterday for the first time in about 6 months. The hush puppies we ordered tasted like they use the same batter for the fish fry, they were very burnt and tasted horrible (fishy). I got the Jimmy Burger, same as I always do. I used about 6 – 7 napkins to get grease off the bun. It had no taste and was in NO WAY a Jimmy Burger of old. My wife liked her Hickory burger but that’s just because it had bacon on it. I can’t see this place making it if this is the quality of food they are putting out now. Not to mention, they close at 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights???

Tucked away, in fact a friend suggested this venue for lunch. I was surprised not to find it listed on Unilocal when I went to check in. Are the locals hiding it or did I just not cross reference it correctly? Straight up Roadhouse style situated on the lake with a great deck view. Take in the lake activity and sunshine from the deck or hunker down in the cool darkness inside to watch the game, your choice. Sunday featured a buffet and crazy tall bloody’s with a meat stick. I passed and decidedly kept it simple with the BLT wrap and some Old Style.
Staff were friendly and easy going and the cost was average.
