Mike’s Affordable Tree Service

We hired Mike’s Affordable Tree Service to take down several trees on our property that were too close to the house and/​or were dangerous trees that needed to go before the next wind storm took them down.
Initially Mike came out to evaluate the trees we were concerned about, and he made recommendations for those as well as a few others we were not even aware had problems. His bid was extremely fair and reasonable (hence the name of his company), and we scheduled a day for him to come out to do the work.
On the day of the job, Mike arrived exactly when he had promised to be there, and got to work right away. It was a pleasure watching him ‘do his thing’ – he is certainly an expert in safe tree removal, as was very evident in watching him work.
We had a couple of trees that were very close to our house and also right along the property line next to our neighbor’s house. Mike expertly removed all of the limbs, dropping them carefully into a neat pile on our side of the line. He then skillfully took the trees down in sections, laying them precisely where they needed to go.
I also appreciated the time he took to take the trees down in sections suitable for us to be able to sell the logs, and the referral for a log truck driver to help us deliver them to the mill (which helped offset the cost of taking the trees down).
My wife and I have nothing but great things to say about Mike Mohney, and Mike’s Affordable Tree Service. We had a great experience, will definitely use him again, and would highly recommend him to anyone.
