Grew up with Aldi half a century ago in Germany, and still love it. It’s always great to find German goodies, and the international selection of wines. It’s a real bargain to shop there for quality groceries and household goods, when you live on a tight budget.

I’m always surprised at the range of products at Aldi’s. This location is a few years old, and seems to be well maintained. Shelves are typically full, and in good order. A lot easier to get into, and out of here than the Walmart nearby … or any major grocery store, for that matter. Everything from fresh produce, to milk, to canned goods, to frozen food, etc. I think this is standard with other Aldi’s: BYO-Container/Grocery Bag [you can buy their shopping bags]; shopping carts require a 25-cent deposit [need a quarter to unlock the shopping cart, which is returned when you return the cart]; and, cash or debit card, only. I’m fine with all of those things. Pricing is good.

I love Aldi. I don’t use it as my primary grocery store, but they have some great deals! I love getting Apples, raisins, other items from here. I’m single, so I don’t need TONS of stuff, so if it’s perishable, and I want it fresh, I grab it here. The prices are comparable on a lot of items to warehouse stores, but you don’t have to get 3 years worth.
