Audrey’s Studio 117

Audrey is the best! I’ve been going to her for a while now and have loved my hair cut every time. I now trust her enough to giver her an idea about what I think would work, but then I give her free reign over how she cuts my hair. Sometimes I am surprised at how much her haircut changes the shape of my face in such a flattering way; she is brilliant at framing my face. I actually have a nice, feminine jawline when she’s done rather than looking like a long-​faced character from «Bob’s Burgers» when I show up for my appointment. She’s amazing!

I visited Audrey’s salon on Friday February 13^th for a late afternoon appointment. I arrived a few minutes early and she was ready for me. I haven’t been to a salon «plaza» before but I really liked the concept and felt like I was getting a celebrity treatment having Audrey all to myself! The salon was very tidy and neat with nearby studios bustling with activity; at the same time in Audrey’s salon it felt private. This was the first time I met her so we talked for a good 10 minutes about my hair type, maintenance and what I wanted before we got started. I feel like she really wanted to understand before jumping into it. I wanted the currently popular «balayage» or painted on highlights and a long collarbone length a-​line cut. I showed her a picture I found on Pinterest and we talked more about specific color for me which a slightly darker blonde than in the picture would work best for me and my low maintenance requirements. She got to work and was pleasant to talk to through out the appointment. She used a color glaze on my hair which made it feel very silky and soft. She finished my hair with a flat iron so I could really see the highlights and where they were placed-​and they were perfect! The appointment took about 2 hours which is record time but that is probablly because it was one on one and most places juggle multiple clients at a time. A couple days later I washed and curled my hair which is what you see in the pictures. So long story short– I love my hair!

Had second appointment with Audrey just yesterday and I love, love, love my new
«do». I took pictures this time because I wanted to try out a little different look.
She interpreted this perfectly. My hair is loving me back now because I found
Audrey!

I never liked my hair much until I put it in Audrey’s talented hands. Now I get regular compliments about my hair. Audrey’s new studio is great — very relaxing — you feel so special while you are there.

Audrey is the most creative and fun hair stylist! I don’t ever have any recommendations because her ideas are always so great! I lover her salon suite because it is so relaxing and cute! Thanks Audrey!
