stayed here for an overnight stay while traveling back to Bushnell, Florida. An old style huge campground modernized for«pull thrus» and larger units. close to the road. plenty of restaurants nearby. The facilities were clean and usable. Easy off and easy on the main interstate. large trees on each site with the Moss hanging from the trees. the dog areas were close by.(sign that says not to get to close to the forest edge with a «if you know what I mean» look… we had no trouble). go back sometime: sure.

This campground is good for an overnight stay! It was very clean and the staff was friendly! The Spanish Moss is very beautiful! There is a pool but it’s pretty small and there is a playground for kids. Bring bug spray!!! Also there was no wifi to be found.

Pretty setting, just too close to the interstate. Traffic noise all night. The bathrooms were excellent with ample hot water and water pressure. Bring lots of bug spray because the night bugs will eat you alive. Most importantly, don’t buy the wifi myth. One of the primary reasons we chose this place is so that we could get on line and do some planning, send some emails, etc, but no wifi to be found. All in all, I think it is overpriced and over hyped.

Eagles Roost is super convenient. It is right off of the interstate. There are restaurants close by and flea market shopping if you like that. The park is adorned with beautiful moss covered trees which shade it nicely. The sites are level and the connections are great. We have stayed here on more than one occasion and even after hours there is no issue which after a day of driving is much appreciated. Their staff has always been very nice.
