Starbucks

Barista’s are very friendly and excellent at what they do. The store manager, Erica, is fabulous and it is apparent all the employees enjoy working under her guidance. Erica leads by example, doing everything from cleaning to making magic happen behind the counter! Store is always exceptionally clean.

Where. To. Begin. I can usually rely on Starbucks to be pretty consistent with their coffee. Unfortunately, not with their staff. The kiddos working in this shop have no customer service skills.
Waited 26 minutes for a clover press coffee. Ordered online while driving there and after waiting for 10 minutes after ordering, I asked someone named Ben about my order. He did not acknowledge me, just asked his coworker if there was an order waiting. Then Hayley/​Hailey/​Hayleigh/​Heyleigh proceeded to get the wrong size on one cup and as I was asking if I ordered one of each size she replied, «l know» and just turned around to get another cup. Hmm. Ok. So one coffee was made. Whew. I needed a break. I went to restroom and came out to Hayley/​Hailey/​Hayleigh/​Heyleigh nowhere to be seen. I waited a few minutes to see if anyone would notice a coffee sitting on the clover press completely finished, but nothing. So I finally asked someone to finish making my coffee (put the dang lid on it and hand it to me). As we are leaving, I see our dear barista, Hayley/​Hailey/​Hayleigh/​Heyleigh, outside taking out trash. She LEFT in the middle of making an order to do a task that would make a customer WAIT for a significant period of time if no one else was going to finish that order. What in the. WORLD.
To put the icing on the cake, BOTH drinks’ lids leaked. Stopped at the Starbucks in Safeway to replace.
I don’t frequent Starbucks on the regular, but when I do it’s because I know it’s consistent. Except for this location. AVOID!

This is my regular morning stop when traveling to Portland. Located in the strip mall next to Oswego grill and near the business park, this is a busy store. For all that, the staff is friendly and efficient and kept things moving so there is rarely much of a wait. It’s a pretty standard Starbucks experience, but the location makes this my go to place on the road.

A Starbucks is what it is: coffee and something else if you want it. This one was fine. Iced tea and coffee were ok. No drive thru was a small problem. I had a free drink and the server tried to explain how it should have meant a free breakfast however the gold card benefits confuse me. Coffee cake was fine.

This is a great Starbucks location. Very clean and well kept. They have very friendly service and they are speedy with their drinks. The place was busy and I still got my drink in a very timely fashion.

I love this location because it’s close to home. We can walk from our place, catch fresh air and get coffee. It’s a win win situation. Also, I use this location if I need to use a restroom during my run. Their restroom is very clean.
They have a lot of outside seating, which is perfect during great weather. Tons of parking space as well both for cars and bicycles.
They have a lot of tables that customers could use whether you’re a student, doing business, or just want to chill out.

This is my happy day Starbucks! Every day is a happy day, but usually my day is a little more happy when I’m coming here!
I only make it to this location on weekends and holidays! Happy Days! My work Starbucks is literally 100 feet from my office door! So, really makes no sense to come to this Starbucks on work days!
Plus this place is a corporate zoo during business hours! I stopped in once during the week to witness the mob of people in button downs and suits!
Lots of attractive people all dressed spiffy, meeting up for sales calls, I’m sure!
When I pull up it’s right before a run with my silly running attire and hat! Trying to be incognito!
The staff here all far exceed my expectations! Which is really something special! Maybe it’s because it’s Lake Oswego! No Portland attitude of superiority! I just love all these gals! It’s mostly gals!

Extra star for the employee here that explained to me a ½ or even ¼ pump is possible, as I like flavor but not so much damn sugar heheh! Starbucks is good stuff if you want flavored coffee drinkers now, plain espresso not so much.

Friendly staff. Convenient walking distance from our hotel (just across the street). Nice outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. What more can one ask for?

I know it’s the McDonalds of coffee and aficionados snub their noses up at it but damn are they convenient. Seems like there is one on literally every street corner. I counted and I have like 6 of them within a mile of me. The only beef I have with this location is the crowds. It can be so ridiculously busy that the line is at the door if not out it. Choose your time wisely or you’ll be standing pressed against the door waiting for your drink.

Steady morning rush but they handle it with ease. I have never left with the wrong order. The baristas here are quick and precise. The parking lot can become a mess but it’s the same service inside that you would expect from a starbucks.

After more than a year, I made another trip to this Starbucks location — for the only reason the one nearby was packed.
Unbelievably, the people that work at this location are just as obnoxiously inappropriate as my visit last year. I order two drip coffees, and ask the person taking my order to please put them on a drink carrier, since I don’t see any out. And I asked very nicely.
This other troll of a girl brings my drinks back to the register area, no carrier. I once again ask, very kindly, that I needed my drinks in a carrier please (since I was taking them to go). The Starbucks troll mumbled something unintelligible and proceeded to just walk away. I thought for a moment she was going to find a carrier, but no — back to her duties as the Centerpointe Starbucks troll of the day.
I left, beating myself up for being so stupid to return to this location.
Starbucks — this location is in *SERIOUS* need of major help. The obnoxious trolls that work here are destroying your brand.

With friendly staff and abnormally copious indoor and outdoor seating, this particular Starbucks location ranks high on my list of corporate coffee shops. It’s not worth going out of your way, but if you’re near I-5’s exit 292, stop by, grab a latte, sit outside, and enjoy the beautiful Oregon trees for a while.
Four stars is about the best I can give for any Starbucks location, however, given the universally burned flavor of their coffee.
