Wish I could rate this place higher, but the service was atrocious. Ordered two pizzas for pick up in 30 mins and arrived early to wait.
Instead of telling us they were running behind we sat there for 35mins only to inquire about our order. They told us one pizza was done and another 5mins for the other as they weren’t baked at the same time.
Over 20mins later the 2nd pizza emerged while the 1st was sitting on a pizza warmer. Of course it was cold when we got home (under 5mins away) and the 2nd pizza undercooked. Won’t give them 2nd go!

I am keen on their pizza in general – good sauce, fresh veg – but even upon request, the most emphatic yet sweetest of requests, they NEVER BAKE IT LONG ENOUGH! We’ve resigned ourselves to pre-​heating our own oven before picking up our order. My husband is the one who has dealt with the staff the most and has described them as ‘hit and miss’. On the phone, which is where I’ve interacted with PS’s staff, I’ve had the pleasure of pure friendliness.

I am in town on business and needed a quick place to grab lunch. I was wary after reading some bad reviews but decided to take my chances. This place is great! Fast service, great food. The employees are upbeat and friendly, and it wasn’t very expensive. It could be a touch cleaner, but other than that this was a great place.

I called in an hour before close to order a pizza for pick up. The guy clearly put the phone on the counter and had a conversation with his coworker about whether or not they wanted to make the pizza or just tell me that they weren’t making any more pizzas. After the guy that picked up the phone had said to the other guy «it’s your call mannn» multiple times, he kindly got back on the phone and told me that they had stopped making pizzas for the night. If I owned this place, this is the sort of stuff that would really piss me off. I live in the neighborhood and usually go there when I need pizza — I guess I’ll go elsewhere.
TL;DR: told me they were closed so that they wouldn’t have to make pizzas; poor customer service.

I went here one time. It was a day I had surgery to get a sist removed from my eyelid. And after it I was starving. I ordered the fricken chicken pasta. Because it has been delicious everywhere else ive ever been. I go to quite a few schmizzas. The girl working was sweet. The food tasted good. but I got food poisoning. So not only was I messed up from my surgery I also was puking my guts out. So much that the stitches on my eyelid started bleeding. It was a graphic horrible time. I couldn’t eat anything until the next late late evening!

We enjoyed their pizza. We hung out Sunday, drinking rootbeer while we waited. I’m shocked to read that others had a bad experience while our’s was not bad.
I guess luck of the draw. Pizza wasn’t burned, it was exactly what we ordered.

i don’t know how this place USE to be, but since we’ve been coming here USUALLY the employees are friendly and competent, and the pizza delicious. i am kind of surprised about the reviews here, but then again it’s Unilocal and Unilocal is no longer the go-​to review site :/

There’s no such thing as a bad pizza? Well, I found a place that refutes that adage. The crust was very undercooked – like eating a big patty of raw dough. We ordered their $ 17.00 small pizza with sausage… it was a miracle pizza because the sausage was invisible. If you’re looking for a decent, pizza try someplace else.

I have never been to a place where I was made to feel like I was such an inconvenience. All I was looking for was a little lunch, yet the staff really had no interested in serving me. The pizza has gone way down hill over the years and the staff is getting worse by the day.

Quality keeps going down here. The genoa was terrible. Cheap dried out meat. I tossed it. Vegi had very few vegetables on a cream base, not tasty. Along with the baby cockroaches on my salad a year ago, I won’t go back to any Schmizza.

I ate here today for lunch and the pizza was really good. The girl working though was so rude. She just walked up and stood there and stared waiting for us to order. We said hi and she just glared at us. Then she slammed our plates down on our table when she brought us our food. She has a major attitude problem. They should train their employees to at least say hi. She did the same thing to the next few customers also. The only reason I would go back is because their pizza is delicious.
