I had gauged my ears (and lightly torn then) in the early 2000’s
They were so nice at this office and made me feel very comfortable. This was the most reasonable price I could find for this procedure.
I came back to the office a few times during healing to make sure everything was healing correctly. The lobe didn’t match up on one ear, so 6 weeks later (they allowed time for healing) they fixed it to make it match up.
The scars are still slightly visible to me (as you would expect) but they look amazing and I’m very happy with them.

I have been getting Botox since I first got wrinkles that weren’t cute. I was in the Medical Spa business since the beginning of time and he was once my fiercest competition. However, since I changed fields in 2006, I have been having my one time competitor Dr. Darm and in recent years Dr. Davenport (a dream with a needle) give me those tiny little shots that make me look so good. They are always expanding the services (they do surgery now) and they offer low pressure consultations, safe treatments and competitive prices.
BONUS: They have never given me a single droopy eyelid.
If you haven’t had BOTOX before, it’s super fast and normally I can get in and see Dr. Davenport (you took a decade off again Mr. Magic) and be back in my car in less than 15 minutes. Before anyone even knows you went.

The jury is still out on this one. I came here for a service and ended up not being happy with the result. I called to see what they could do for me (before disputing the charge on my credit card) I asked for a re-​do or refund of my money — and both times I got less than friendly service on the phone. The 3^rd time I called, I spoke with someone courteous, but by then, I’d pretty much given up on trying to resolve the issue.
In instances like this, I probably can’t get my money back (it’s kind of the same as getting a haircut; you get what you get, period) so I will shop around and see what other options I have out there.
That’s not to say that I didn’t think the front desk staff (not to be confused with the people who deal with disputes) or Dr. Darm weren’t personable, because they are. They’ve also moved locations and really glammed/​classed up the place. Now one can see where all your money goes. Which is not to say that it affect the way you feel about your procedure. Aesthetic is everything; whether it be food, how you perceive yourself or the office you visit when enhancing your (already beautiful) self.
A year later…
I wasn’t going to return to AM, but found a coupon on Groupon. I have now been introduced to a new product and am much happier. That said, I will continue to patronize Aesthetic Medicine, as long as they keep running in-​house specials and Groupons.

I used to go to their Tigard location and now they are even closer to me (Lake O.)! I think their estheticians are very friendly and knowlegeable. I go in for microderms and so I’m in and out. There’s no fluff like a massage style facial chair or sounds of running waterfalls in the background. It’s very clinical which I like b/​c there’s no pressure to tip. And when they have Groupons/​Living Socials their prices are very good. I would recommend this business and plan on returning.

It’s been awhile but I have to say, I’m a fan and that it was worth every penny. I decided to get laser surgery to remove a birth mark of mine. To most people you cannot even see it unless I pointed it out. I hated it so I thought I’d remove it for good. I remember Dr. Darm assured me that it’s not even noticeable and I can go through life fine with it being barely detectable. But what baby wants baby gets! I liked that he warned me this could go either way here for my case because mine was relatively light in color– the laser could make it worse! making it darker or it could make it disappear after healing– huzzah. The procedure was pretty quick with very little pain– I do have a high tolerance for pain though. I was informed of after care and let time heal it up and I must say after some time now. one would never know. It’s just a distant memory now. Love​.It. I just thought of it today after moisturizing and thinking wow. I’d like to thank my mother and asian culture for being totally supportive and encouraging of cosmetic surgery– laser or knives :-D
No knives for me yet unless we’re talking self defense. I’m playing– I do mace and my keys. Keys can scratch a face good. You know how long it’d take to whip out a knife and try to knife fight with a mugger? Yeah right. By the time I get it out I’d probably be shot or knocked over the head with a baseball bat already!

Jeezussss! People are so touchy about admitting that they get botox, like there is some shame in it. Really? You are 50 and wrinkle-​free and you profess that you just naturally have really good genes? Sure, I totally believe you. Or, they think it is dangerous or something. Uh huh and you probably wear a tin-​foil hat too.
So to all you anti-​botox freaks, and haters of Dr. Darm for whatever your squirrely reasons, I snub thee.
I will freely admit that I have been getting botox for those pesky little crows-​feet in a preventative maintenance way for years. I certainly never once felt like I was in a puppy mill like another reviewer that shall remain as nameless as her question mark-​like photo. She sort of sounds like she has an entire constellation of «issues» that are well beyond what botox is capable of fixing.
In my many years of being treated at Dr. Darm’s office I have always thought of him and his office as professional, his demeanor as courteous, and if I have someone poking me in the face with a sharp needle, I don’t want them to linger over the poking part. I would like to have that needle in and out of my face toute de suite. So a fast injection is a good injection. Dr. Darm and the other doctor that does the injections always do their best to avoid leaving bruises but you know what? Sometimes, despite their best efforts, a bruise will occur. Deal.
There is something that a patient can do to mitigate bruising. That is to take Arnica before and after the procedure. Arnica is a natural supplement that can help alleviate bruising. One can pick up said supplement at most any Fred Meyer, Walgreen’s, Rite Aide, etc.
Now, just by writing this review, I was inspired to call and schedule an appointment and they fit me in for tomorrow. Botox works so well for me that I only go twice a year rather than the recommended 4 times a year. It’s all about maintenance…

I came here to use a Groupon for a micro-​derm.
I love micro-​derm, and get them often. And, it must show because I do get compliments on my skin so I feel its worth it. I would totally come back here again for the micro-​derm. First, they use the Diamond tip minus the annoying crystals (major plus in my book, less mess). The mini facial that came with the micro-​derm was nice and basic (I could easily go back to work after wards). The technician was skilled and friendly.
I also had a consult for some nasty leg veins I have due to genetics. They quoted me a standard price, a physician actually looked at my legs, and it was all done in a professional manner.
I am not sure I understand the complaints about sales pitches, etc. If you fill out the form to indicate you are interested in certain services, then they will talk to you about those services. I only marked what I wanted to talk about, and that is all I received. I asked them if they thought I had any sun damage, and the consultant said she could see none and thought there was no need for that treatment. Seems pretty honest to me!

Ok, my review may be a little biased since I was one of the 1,600 people that bought the micro-​dermibrasion facial via Group-​On. For only $ 20, it was a fantastic facial. I even booked my appointment on New Year’s Eve and got in the next business day. Nobody tried to up-​sell me, I didn’t have to wait long and my facial was very relaxing and effective.

I was so stoked to try one last thing to help my acne. I had laser treatment done on my face and sadly it did not help! I was pretty disappointed after spending over a thousand dollars on the recommended number of treatments.
The girls who did the laser treatments were great — let me know what I would feel and prepared me when they were about to begin.
I would feel more confident in recommending Aesthetic if my treatment had worked for me.
