Timber Creek Pizza

We have wanted to go here for the last two years and finally made it. People were coming in and getting ice cream in droves. We got pizza and it was pretty good, Thin crust and tasted great. Not the best I have ever had but I will definitely come back again and order the pizzam. The sub– sandwich’s people were buying looked very good and were reasonable in price.
Yes we will definitely be back!

Delicious food, especially the hot Philly turkey sub! My favorite place to go when I lived in Lake Mills. Absolutely, hands-​down, the most HORRENDOUS service I’ve ever experienced in my life. The only reason I kept going back was the awesome food (minus the pizza… stick to the sandwiches and Mexican if you’re not looking for disappointment).

Nice little lunch spot. Family owned. We indulged in the Philly cheese steak six inch with a bowl of chili. Chili was OK. Not great. Sandwich was very good however. Pretty reasonable price for a nicely put together and tasty Sammie. Worth the stop in little Lake Mills WI

Given that the restaurant is located in small town Wisconsin, I think it does a pretty good job. The service was prompt, the ice cream was terrific and the seating area was cozy and welcoming.
The pizza we had, though, wasn’t so great. It had way too much sauce on it and the sauce was very bland. The ingredients were piled to overflowing on our pizza, too. It was hard to know if the kids behind the counter had been taught how to make a pizza properly or if it was anything goes.
I’ve been here before, though, and not had that same experience so I would definitely come back next time I’m in town and try again. Plus, as long as the ice cream stays, I know I won’t be disappointed.

The pizza is delicious but way over priced. The high school girls behind the Counter should focus on helping the customer out rather than discuss gossip. Ordered pizza three times from them and got my order wrong ²⁄₃ times. Can’t deny the pizza is delicious. But why should I bother to pay that price if some high school girl is going to get my order wrong. Not a welcoming feeling.

I can only speak for the ice cream at this place. Damn, that was good. Seriously some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Served with a smile.
I went with a two-​scoop waffle cone and got Birthday Cake and Cookies and Cream. They were everything I ever wanted in either. The Birthday Cake was packed full of that delicious cake flavor and tons of blue ribbon. Cookies and Cream was incredibly creamy and there was barely a bit of ice cream that wasn’t covered in cookies. The portions were huge and the price was right.
We came here after eating at nearby Water House as Van #1’s lunch stop for Ragnar Relay Chicago. As good as Water House was, I think I’ll bring the crew to Timber next time. They have a huge menu that caters to pizza, sandwich and veggie lovers.

I stopped in here with 5 buddies while we were passing through town. We all ordered subs and they were great. Fresh veggies, fresh bread, and huge portions! Best sub I’ve had in a while. Service was quick, too, despite having a lot of folks in the restaurant before and during our meal. Had to log in to add my review because these guys deserve more stars than they’ve been getting. Recommended!

In Lake Mills under not so great circumstances — needed to find a quick place to eat, and this is very near where we were visiting. Their storefront lists pizza, tacos, and malts… Hmmm… Yeah — That pretty much sums it up. Sub-​mediocre food — almost bowling alley-​like… Hubby says it reminded him of «rodeo» food. I tried the spinach alfredo pizza with mushrooms and tomatoes; hubby had the nachos and a soft taco. the pizza was okay — the crust was nice and crisp, which I like, but overall, just sadly bland. Hubby’s nachos made me chuckle — think of those round, cheap tortilla chips they serve you at the movie theater (or bowling alley. or rodeo…), with that «cheese» that’s dispensed from one of those metal contraptions that ketchup’s dispensed from in fast food joints, then add some Hormel meat-​chili and some jalapeños from a can, and voila! You have their nachos! The soft taco was like a sad, middle-​school lunch taco. I really hate giving out a 1 star, so since the staff was nice enough, I’ll give them 2. But really, the food is 1 star-​quality.

I have had better, but then I grew up in Chicago.
This was by no means the worse I have had, but it is far from the best. I had just moved in and lacking groceries and desire to make a meal I chose to order a pizza. I kept it simple, sausage and mushroom. The sausage was okay, not the best I have had but okay none the less.
I ordered for pick up and it was ready when promised. The place has plenty of street parking and it was no problem getting in and out. The place was empty, but this may have been because it was almost closing time.
I do believe the place warrants another visit and my rating may change as a result. But, given that the pizza options are few here this might be as good as it gets.

Timber Creek is alright. Their pizza is terrible. They never seem to make it right. One time it was too crispy/​burned, another time the crust was soggy in the middle. Their subs are good though, especially the Italian one. They also have yummy ice cream.

Horrible service… horrible pizza. Definitely don’t recommend it. I have never felt like I was an inconvenience for ordering food until this evening! Both the person on the phone and the delivery person were rude and inconsiderate.
