My wife and I ate in this restaurant for Christmas brunch. It was an exceptional eating experience. They had several hand carving meat stations. Everything from lamb to pork to Turkey to ham. The mimosas kept on coming. Outstanding cakes pies and cookies for dessert. Probably the best Christmas brunch I have ever been to. I have been eating Christmas brunch in Orlando for the past 10 years. The price was reasonable for the amount of food that you received. $ 45 per person included tip and tax. They also had traditional breakfast such as eggs Benedict omelettes bacon pancakes and waffles. We had a great time will probably go there again next year or if they have a Mother’s Day or Easter brunch we will go to that.

If it weren’t for the bar and policies related to the bar, this is an excellent property. Fortunately, for the drinker, there is a great bar 100 feet from the back door of the property. The Marriott bar is the first I’ve visited where one orders a simple mixed drink, like scotch and water and the bartender pours it with no ice. If you then say you want it with ice or on the rocks, there is a $ 2.00 «rocks up charge» added to your check. And the original drink is over $ 8.00. So this makes it over $ 10.00 per drink. They claim they add more liquor when they pour over ice. What!!! Never heard of such a thing. Bottom line, enjoy your stay and drink at Friendly Confines next door. There, you order a scotch and water, the bartender immediately puts ice in glass, adds scotch, water and rings up $ 6.00. I’d rather stay at Marriott bar with others in my group but can’t handle their ridiculous and unusual policy. Thank you to front desk manager for taking the up charges off my bill but it should not come to that.

I took my mother and family to the special Mother’s Day Brunch and it was fantastic. From the breakfast bar to the pasta bar — all was fresh and decadent. I especially enjoyed the pasta bar where the chef creates a pasta dish of your choosing! The service was excellent and we all left satisfied.

Ideal location for business purposes and close to I4 for travel. Nice, friendly staff, and they have a nicely equipped gym as well.

A nice property that I was expecting to be a bit dated but it was not. As Platinum Preferred, I was given a nice room on the 10th floor facing east where I got a lovely sunrise in the morning. My room was quiet, my bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my one night stay here. Nice but small concierge lounge. Plenty of parking. LOTS of restaurants nearby. Easy to get to and from I-4

This was our first time having Sunday brunch at the Marriott Lake Mary. What a treat. I’ve never been a fan of restaurants at most chain hotels, but this was a lovely surprise. Beautifully appointed dining room, great food and an amazing server named Cathy. At $ 24, a bargain. Some Orlando area hotels charge $ 49. We will definitely return. M. Flynn

Beàutiful hotel. Decorated beautifully for the holidays. Good service and Starbucks coffee! Comfy beds and good wifi. My only complaint would be that the staff in the concierge lounge got very agitated when some of the guests asked for more coffee a few minutes after 9am.

This Hotel is immaculate and the staff is friendly. You need to carry your key card whenever you leave the room. It’s required for everything. Nice Pool, Jacuzzi, and Workout Room. Right next door to Fishbones which is a Great Restaraunt. I would stay again!!!

I love my Marriott POINTS! We are here for race weekend and are enjoying this nice hotel for FREE. I work really hard, so it’s nice to be able to relax and enjoy some time off with my husband. This hotel is your typical Marriott that is clean, updated with great service. One nice thing is that they opened the concierge level for race weekend. The serve a continental breakfast so it makes for a nice start for your day. Also, this is a full service Marriott so they offer a nice work out facility, bar and restaurant. Our room was spacious and the bed enabled us to get some great rest. The only thing missing is a refrigerator. They charge you $ 10 a day for the refrigerator not to exceed $ 30 for your stay. If I was on business, count me in on staying at this Marriott location.

Great property & location for business travel. Restaurants all around and beautiful green area. They’ve kept the hotel pretty updated though one can tell its age through older looking elevator buttons. Usually a sign of some age. Restaurant at the hotel is good. Great room though the shower head could have used some CLR to clean. Several restaurants within walking distance across the courtyard as you leave the hotel bar. Grab breakfast at Patisserie Café/Bakery. Good coffee, pastries, etc.

Seems like a bit of a half ‘n half for a business class hotel. Wasn’t a big fan of the coffee maker set up(paper cups? pre-fab coffee pods?). I know Marriotts around the country use larger coffee pots and ceramic cups, so that was a bit of a let down. Presumably all of the beds are new but the bed was too soft for comfortable sleeping(at least for me). I did request a quiet room and, as at most Marriotts, the room was quiet and I couldn’t hear anyone from the floor above. Small-ish rooms(especially since I got stuck with two doubles — and I swear those are the smallest double beds I’ve ever seen!), but I wasn’t in the room except to sleep. They tout an evening turndown service, which I didn’t see and I’m not sure if you have to request it. You have to request the paper to be delivered in the morning, which they don’t tell you when you check in. WiFi is free(which I would expect) but it’s also unsecured(unexpected and not exactly preferable). I also absolutely HATE hotels who post the«help us conserve» signs and reuse your towels, so I do the right thing and hang my towels, but then they take the towels. In this case, they took the towels but didn’t replace them. So I had to use one of the stored towels, and honestly? I think that towel was several years old. Thin and not at all up to what should be a Marriott standard. I was there on business so I didn’t make use of the breakfast facilities, other than the Starbucks that turns into a bar. Parking seemed ample. Overall, a 1 star ding for the lousy in-room coffee and towel treatment. Otherwise, a standard Marriott hotel and much as you’d expect. If I visit my office in the area again, I’ll definitely stay here again. And this time I’ll know what to ask for.

For a Marriott, and a «pretty» one at that, I expect better. Front desk service was good, but again, at a full service Marriott, I have come to expect more. Waited forever for table service in the bar area, gave up and went to bar to order. Room was nice with a big time exception; the beds. This is my third stay at this hotel this year. The beds must have come from a Fairfield Inn. Seriously, the beds at Hilton Garden Inns are much better. Executive lounge was very well run and the best part of the this hotel.

Room is nice & clean. Way too big to NOT have a mini fridge! Looses a star for no mini fridge. Why can a cheap ass Days Inn have a mini in EVERY room & these nicer hotels are too damn cheap to invest in a few tiny fridges to keep cold drinks in the room??? I hate walking halfway around a hotel to find a freaking ice machine &WHO in FL uses the ICE or actually drinks the water here? Not me! I highly suggest mini fridges standard in every hotel room! Even the hotels in Mexico have fridges! Cmon! Get with it. Ice machine days are so over! Pool is nice. Staff is nice. Water takes forever to get hot tho. Specially on the 6th floor. At least the High speed Internet works without a credit card!

Wonderful hotel located in Lake Mary. The beds are huge and comfy, there’s free wifi, and the pool and hot tub are nice. The food at the restraunt is excellent, try it. The workout room is fully stocked and could be a gym on it’s own. Also located right next to the heart of Lake Mary’s night life. And above all the staff is top notch. They gave us everything they needed and security was very accomodating, considering they were dealing with 25+ sports mascots running around.

I stayed in this hotel for an off-site business training. I will admit that the location of it was a little confusing as I seemed to get turned around every time that I walked outside of it. It is close to many restaurants, bars, grocery store, etc. All of this is within walking distance so we did not even have a rental car. The breakfast was always good in the morning and they provided many options, which is always nice. The workout facilities were nice with 3 elliptical machines, multiple treadmills, bikes, exercise balls and weights. It could have been a bit cooler in there though. The rooms were spacious and the front desk was helpful. Housekeeping was excellent as they always made the bed and brought fresh towels daily(very much appreciated since we were outside every day sweating in the 80 degree weather). The only gripes I have are that the pillows were not firm enough(totally my opinion) and the toilet did not like to flush very easily. The handle had to held down for quite a while before it would go. Also, the stairs did not provide lobby access. They only led to outside the hotel… strange! Overall, great stay! I would recommend this hotel.
