Digino’s Pizza Lake Mary

Digino’s is a good pizza place if you’re looking for delivery or carry out in Lake Mary that doesn’t come from a major chain. The pizza is standard, New York style pizza. The crust is crispy, and fresh, the sauce they use is savory, and the meats and cheeses used are quite good.
One negative about the restaurant, the pasta isn’t particularly good. I’ve had the chicken parm a couple times and it’s just not worth the money. It’s a little bit bland, and could definitely stand to have some heavier cheese.
Overall though, Digino’s is a good carryout option. They have good pizza, decent appetizers, and every time that I’ve ordered for takeout or delivery the food has been ready within the timeframe which they indicated it would be.

Awful! If u want good pizza go to Tomasino’s! Lasagna was just a big greasy pile of meat and cheese. Pizza crust was soggy, not very flavorful. Stromboli was very average. Garlic bread tasted like a stick of butter. I wish I could rewind and do this dinner over again… Elsewhere. Very disappointing

This was the most disgusting «pizza» I have ever tasted. I spit out the one bite I took.
The «Italian Classic» is described as having «plum tomatoes, fresh garlic, basil, etc». Take a look at the picture I’ll be attaching — do those look like plum tomatoes? We looked really hard, and couldn’t find the basil — oh, wait, dried basil flakes… I didn’t know we needed to specify that we wanted fresh basil, or even the tomatoes which were advertised. Not to mention, the pizza was not hot, and looked like it had been cooked earlier, and just boxed up when we ordered it.
Ordered a gyro — the meat was ok, the rest was extremely lackluster. And the «cucumber sauce»??? I think it needs to have cucumber in it, to qualify.
For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, and a cannoli. I wouldn’t believe it, if it didn’t see it — my girlfriend took one bite, and a look came over her face. She then pulled out a PIECE OF PLASTIC from her mouth, which appears to match a piece broken from the rim of the container it was served in. The plastic was not on the top of the tiramisu, so we can only assume, it broke off when they were filing the container. In addition — this was not true tiramisu.
The cannoli. Where do I begin? The shell is coated in this «chocolate», that just tastes HORRIBLE. Terrible mouth-​feel, and the aftertaste was just absolutely disgusting.
In conclusion, I can only say that I’m completely disappointed, and the 3.5 star rating this place has, is not deserved. Papa Joe’s, in Lake Mary, is where we should have ordered from — save yourself the wasted money. I just threw away $ 40 for food that is going directly into the trash.

One word– YUM!!! Best Stromboli we’ve ever had! This baby was huge and loaded with cheese, pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. The top was brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with parmesan. Delicious! It wasn’t a greasy mess either, which I find to often be a big issue with Stromboli. You certainly get what you pay for here.
The service was friendly and reasonably fast.
My only complaint was not receiving the French fries that we ordered and also paid for. Didn’t realize until it was too late. Oh well.
We are out of towners, otherwise we would definitely be going back. I’d love to try the pizza.

DO NOT ORDER!!! Beware of this Pizza place this is run by a manager named Moe who will charge your card multiple times and steal credit card information. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. They charged my card twice then demanded I pay him in cash, I pulled up my bank statement to show the payment was processed and they would not do a thing. I had to report fraudulent charges as the payment posted. STAY AWAY

I was visiting my friends in Florida and they recommended to stop by in this local pizzeria and try their delicious calzones. Being not a big pizza fan myself I got hooked! It was so delicious! We even decided to go some for the road trip to Key West. Even cold it still tasted as a peace of heaven! Highly recommend to try!

I really enjoyed the pizza here. But order beforehand if you’re picking up because it can take a while! They were nice enough to throw in some garlic knots because of the wait. It’s a little pricey but I think it was worth it. I would probably only order from here for special occasions.

We just discovered Digino’s last week, and since then we have been there twice. We have tried their pepperoni pizza, their sausage pizza, their hot wings, and their garlic knots. All of them were absolutely delicious. And the prices are incredibly reasonable for the great portion size. They will definitely have our business moving forward.

Amazing chicken wings and pizza! The steak pizza was mouthwatering goodness. Be sure to order that and the chicken wings. The owner is super friendly and goes out of his way to make his customers happy.

The food here is pretty good. In fact I would say it is my favorite in the area but I don’t think I can go back for other reasons. Recently We stopped in to place an order. I get immediate notification from my bank for charges and it wasn’t the price we agreed to. When I asked about that she had no idea but I also realized she had switched out the special — she said it was because the special I wanted was no longer available. She switched it to a special that included toppings and she picked my topping! Between the mismatch in the amounts and the executive decision she made about my order I decided to cancel. At no point did I get an apology — the owners were just irritated that *I* wasted food. This weekend I came home to a flyer and my original special was still advertised. I just didn’t feel valued as a customer. I’ll give 3 stars because I really do enjoy their food.

3 stars for a Florida pizza joint. Good thin crust, tasty cheese. Being a New Yorker visiting, I especially liked the ny attitude of the mook behind the counter. Expect them to take 30 to 40 min making and cooking your pie. Ps the 18″ super size pie is a std ny sized pie.

New to the area, called in to place a order for delivery. We were very excited because the reviews seemed like this place was going to be great! But very disappointed with the customer service. So sad because we really wanted a pizza. So the first time we called no one answered, then called back the guy on the phone was clueless. We asked about any specials he didn’t know. Then he went to get help another guy comes on he said that guy was new that why we got the run around for the about 10 mins. So we thought OK we got somebody who can help. But nope, he seemed to be either a little rushed or busy. Because he was very quick to get irritated. He couldn’t hear me or even understand me. Either way all we wanted was to order just One large cheese pizza. So after 20 to 25 mins of trying to order one pizza. We said never mind, just cancel it. He calls us back and starts fussing at me Really couldn’t believe that then gets even more upset ! That the customer service we got for not wanting to order a pizza and then he says I was rude. WOW!!! Not what I was expecting from all these great reviews. #sadreallywantapizza

This place is a no frills, get filled, at a great price type of place. Meatball sub is always great and their lunch specials are also a great deal.

I’ve gotten delivery here a couple of times for lunch and have had good experiences. Their lunch specials are extremely cheap compared to surrounding lunch spots. i’ve always gotten the $ 4.95 special — 2×1 topping slices, chips, and a soda. The pizza has been decent, though not on the level of what i would consider an amazing pizza like Chianti’s or Mellow Mushroom. The delivery has always taken a bit longer than estimated (typically ½ hour to 45 mins estimated, about an hour actual), but nothing too crazy. Their delivery charge is really cheap, only $.75! The driver is always nice, and while the delivery may take some extra time to get to me, i haven’t ever had cold pizza brought to me.

I really like their pizza boxes. There. I’ve said something nice. After a long drive from Boston to Lake Mary, I was craving a good pizza, a pizza that represented some of Lake Mary’s finest since this will be my new home. This pizza kinda sucked. It’s «school cafeteria» pizza. It’s in insult to NY to call this NY style pizza. The sauce and cheese is okay… too bland and lacking any flavor to be considered good. But, the real issue with this pizza is the dough. It’s too wet and spongy… imagine soaking Play Doh in water, spreading it out, layering it with cheese… you get the idea. These are «government ingredients» — not high quality. Only eat this stuff if you consider Pizza Hut edible or if you’re so hungry that some Play Doh pie doesn’t sound all that bad.

The pizza is really great. The crust is perfect and it truly is NY style pizza! The Vegi pizza is awesome and our favorite! If you are in the Lake Mary area and looking for pizza, it’s must stop.

Let’s be honest here. I don’t want an 8 inch sub; I want the footlong. And Digino’s makes an amazing full-​size meatball parm sub. Since meatball parm subs are my second favorite thing at a pizza place, it’s pretty important to me that they get it right. The bread should be crisp on the outside and flavorful while being soft on the inside. The cheese should be of good quality, plentiful, and a little browned. The meatballs should have a moist, traditional taste. And lastly, the sandwich should all melt together as one entity, not look like it was thrown together in haste to fill an order. Digino’s scored on all 4 of these criteria. What an awesome sub!
Their lunch special prices are great and their menu is easily accessible online, which I like. I’ll have to try their pizza to give a more well-​rounded review, but based on the sub I just got, I’ll be going back. Perfect for take-​out if you work in the Lake Mary area.

I went in for lunch-​time pizza.
It’s just pizza, nothing special, nothing that reminds me of NY-​style other than it being large. If anything it was kinda heavy on the sauce, which caught me off guard.
Beyond that, this is a small location with a few tables. I came in around 1215pm and not too busy and not much on display or even a menu, so I don’t *really* know what they offer other than the cheese pizza they had out.
While we’re on that «no displayed menu» topic — I have no idea what prices really are here. I dont know if they *really* charged me for 1 slice and gave me 2, or of I was charged for 2 and given 2…

Not too good, at all. Only if you’re in a pinch would I even modestly recommend. Probably a Lunchables pizza would be more satisfying. Their sauce is either too sweet or sour, their delivery service always takes longer than they say it will and longer than is reasonable.
Unlike Caroline A., I’ve seen a menu only because they were menu-​terrorists at an old friend’s apartment complex. Like Paul L., I agree that local businesses deserve to succeed, but Diginos is undeserving.
They need to straighten up their customer service and flavor first.
