I needed a dryer fixed and they were fantastic… did not try to sell me a new one but got a new drum or whatever it was called and it has worked now for 2 yrs. they were personable and helpful and I think they are terrific !!! The cost was very little. Helene

It’s a mixed bag, folks. They’re not as cheap as they seem. Not as cheap as they pretend to be. It’s all hype, misinformation, disinformation, confusion and Con. They are dishonest people who are looking for every opportunity to gouge you. If their lips are moving, don’t believe anything that comes out. You’ll get home, think about what just happened, and think, «Why did I just let myself get ripped off like that.»

I was expecting more for my first time visiting– I’ve lived in the valley for seven years and had never gone in. Wife and I needed a new microwave and a DVD player. Using my BestBuy/​Target/​WalMart apps I found the microwave $ 25 cheaper at all three places. The DVD player was also $ 25 more! We try our best to buy local but had to pass on the DVD player. Bought the microwave anyways just to feel good about supporting local economy. I’ll spend $ 40 instead of $ 70 for the DVD player in Bakersfield. This is a good place to check out though– Food, electronics, appliances and everything else!
