My boyfriend and I always come here and never have been disappointed. The owner is always very nice and takes your order and cooks the food himself! Best broccoli I’ve ever had and a great atmosphere.

Great family dinner experience! Food was fabulous… Pulled pork had an incredible hickory taste. I have never seen my 4 girls eat broccoli so fast-they loved it! Chicken empanadas had a corn meal shell and was stuffed with the best tasting veggie mix but to top it off they provided you with fresh salsa made of minced tomatoes, onion, pepper in a what tasted like a white wine vinegar– it was Superb! Best part for adults is it is a byob or wine :) Prices are absolutely reasonable! For a family of 6(2 adults 1 toddler, 1 preteen, 2 teenagers) who all got meals plus 2 appetizers we paid a total of $ 104 and we never tip less than 20%. Great food, people, atmosphere — perfect place for a date night or family dinner! You have to check it out!

Came here after renting a boat at the lake. A group of 11 of my friends and I were the only guest at the restaurant. It was big enough to accommodate all of us. The two people in the restaurant took our orders and made our food. It took a lot longer since the servers were also the chef. Food came out in different times. But we were understanding since we were a big group. Food was good and no complaints except the portions were kind of small. Overall yummy

Had the chicken breast and it was great. Flavorful and moist, perfect actually. The side of sweet plantains and carrots was just enough for a decent meal. Will definitely return.

This place is one of my town’s best hole-in-the-wall’s. My family knows the owner, who is an extremely friendly and hard-working guy who makes every guest feel like a member of the family. Make sure not to speed too fast on Route 15 or else you’ll miss this place. It’s in a very small strip mall on Rt. 15 South so make sure to keep an eye out for it. I’ve always been a fan of Spanish food and this place has a bunch of Spanish influences in the meals. Plantains? Yep. Empanadas? Yep. Black beans and rice? Yep. I always get the Lechon Asado when I’m here and it is sooooo good! The meat just melts in your mouth. Oh and for the drinkers out there(MYPEOPLE!), it’s BYOB. The owner has wine glasses for you so don’t worry about that. But really, this place is a hidden gem in the area and definitely a must-go-to restaurant for lunch and dinner.

This is such a hidden gem. I kept driving past it and keep thinking I should try this place out. It’s in a non descript small strip mall. The owner, who happened to also be the chef, was the only one there as it seemed like a slow saturday afternoon. We had the Farmer’s platter which had chorizo, pork slices, chicken leg, rice/beans and fried maduros and fried egg. as well as the Roasted pork platter. Everything was mucho tasty, although I’d say my highlights were the chorizo and chicken.

We have visited here quite a bit and enjoyed every meal. I had the Chicken Marsala tonight and my husband had the Chicken Francese. They are always always the best Chicken dishes in the area. You also get two sides. The freshly made Garlic Mashed Potatoes are to die for. Everything came out hot and yummy. Very reasonable prices for housemade, freshly made food. I will keep this as one of our favorite restaurants. You must give this place a try! Very highly recommended! I forgot to mention the homemade desserts. The Zucchini Bread and Flan are fantastic. Also, the soups are great! My husband said that Mike makes the best pea soup and I love the chicken soup.

Discovered this place on Trip Advisor and I’m really glad I did! Amazing food hidden in a small strip mall right off Route 15. If you’re in the Lake Hopatcong area, it’s definitely worth the 5 minute drive to get yourself a nice hearty meal here. The owner, Mike, is also the chef and is super friendly. We tried a few entrees and sides, but I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken, chicken rice, and garlic mashed potatoes. For sure to bringing friends next time, and itching to try that zucchini bread. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

Discovered this place because I was getting my bridesmaid dress next door in the same strip mall. If I hadn’t gotten my dress next door, I’d probably would of never found out about this place because it’s so easy to miss when you are driving on Route 15! Been here a few times since and I love it every time! Everything here is delicious — great portions for the price and the meat is just so so juicy. The owner is also super nice and always remembers you. I highly recommend the empanadas, quesadillas and if you are there for dinner, get the Farmer’s Platter! This is definitely my go to place when I’m in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Love, love, love. I recently moved to the area and soon became disappointed with the take out in town… Until I found CP&M. From day one I was impressed with the quality of ingredients and passionate preparation. Like pork? Go for the bacon-wrapped pork chop with rosemary sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. Killer. The black bean soup and rotisserie chicken are also standouts, but really everything is top notch. It’s easy to get a sense that whoever is preparing this food is putting love and pride into every dish. Well worth the minute or two it might take you to navigate/find the place. Just follow the scent of pulled pork and garlic!

Thanks to Unilocal,my wife and I just discovered this hidden delight. And, by hidden I mean that it’s hard to find, but it is definitely worth the effort. Tucked away in a strip mall just across the street from Quick Check on southbound Rt. 15 it is kind of hard to see the sign, but take our word for it and get ready for a great, casual lunch or dinner. As the name suggests, most of the dishes here have chicken or pork as the star of the plate, and Mike, the owner, knows how to cook each of these meats to juicy perfection. There are also dinner specials daily that have great variety. I ordered the Chicken Reuben which was served with a side if crispy crinkle cut fries. This was a nice sized lunch portion with two slices of crisp rye toast, a heap of pulled chicken, sour kraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. Delicious. My wife ordered The Mountaineer, a sandwich with sliced pork, onions, and peppers, mushroom sauce and melted Provolone cheese, served on a 6″ sub roll, also with fries. She couldn’t have been happier. Before leaving we ordered a slice of their zucchini bread, a sadly misnamed delight that is more cake than bread, but extremely moist and nicely sweet. As Mike suggested we warmed it in the microwave, and we started to have fork fights as we competed for the last bite. We plan to return for dinner very soon.

This place is amazing! My husband an I have been here about 4 times and we’ve never been disappointed. The man who works the front is so friendly and always remembers you.(Seriously we didnt come here for a few months and he remembered what we liked and where we sat) they do awesome rotisserie chicken, and it’s always moist and tender. Their pulled pork is juicy. And the zucchini bread– you won’t want to share it with anyone!
