We had Oasis do our kitchen counters. The installation was clean and professional and were very happy with the results. The installers were very easy to work with and listened to all our concerns. Everything was on schedule as planned and The counters turned out perfectly.

I would say that I don’t recommend Oasis for your kitchen counters, but there really isn’t anyone else in town. We recently moved to Havasu and were not familiar with the different companies in town. We called or went into nearly everyone we could find. For the ones that would call back, they all seemed to roll up to Oasis. They are all essentially Oasis sub contractors it seems. The quote from Oasis was high, however they seemed like the only professional place in town. I felt that as least I knew I was dealing with professionals. I couldn’t be further from the truth. First they told us it would be 3 months before installation could begin. Okay fine, we were willing to wait for what we thought would be the best. Usual amount of follow up needed to keep them on track with the date. They even allowed us to push out the date one week due to vacation plans. 2 days before installation, we received a call to come down to the fabrication yard and see if we like the layout. We arrived and immediately from the look on the fabricators face, we knew something was wrong. The slab that we had chosen 3 months ago was going to be too small. If we wanted to keep it, we would need to accept a 5 inch reduction in the original bar size and a large seam right on the middle intersecting the sink. We told them when we started we didn’t want any large noticeable seams. Basically this means that they did not take accurate measurements initially. Now, if we wanted to keep our date we would have to choose something larger from the yard. Of course we were now in a high pressure situation to choose something and be sure we were going to be able to live with it for the next 20 years… We didn’t have very many choices that would work. The only ones we felt comfortable with were of course more expensive. I assumed they would work with me on the price difference due to this big mess up. They would only give me a 10% discount on the«difference» in price. Which basically equated to about $ 75… Big deal. We went into the store after all this, because now we had to make sure the backsplash we had chosen months ago would work with the new countertops. Again no urgency in helping us with this. We spoke to the owner Keith. He actually had the audacity to imply that the mis-measurement was no big deal and he even seemed to imply our counters actually grew ! No ownership of the problem, basically take or leave it. Horrible customer service. We were spending now at this point 8k, which is small potatoes to them I guess. They had a 50% deposit from me and knew they had me over a barrel. That’s how they made us feel. At this point we just wanted to get through it and get our kitchen. But to make matters worse, after 3 months of being able to schedule the necessary people, they tell us we may need to wait a week for the backsplash. I was upset, but had them start on the granite, not wanting to miss this chance for an install. The granite installers were pretty good. But again lack of attention to all the details. They were about to leave and I noticed all of the support brackets under the bar edge were loose and not squared. Just wow. They fixed them and left. Due to me being a real jerk and demanding the backsplash be completed the next day, someone actually showed up. The main tile setter was decent. Clean work area, put paper down, etc. They completed their job within 2 days and left. When I looked at the details, the borders of the backsplash were even some spots, but in others, the pencil border stuck way out past the cabinets and didn’t look right. They also left all of my electrical plug and switch holes too big, leaving with no choice but to purchase oversize plates. When I brought these issues with the backsplash to their attention I was told sorry, they weren’t fixing it. I was told that the border went out to far to cover up drywall repairs. I wish I had been given the choice. I’d rather have fixed the drywall then have to pull the borders off myself and fix those. Problems happen in this business, it’s how you deal with them that sets you apart. Due to this complete lack of customer service or working with me at all, I would highly recommend to STAYAWAY from Oasis.
