This is a very new shopping center and most of the store spaces aren’t filled yet, but I could just picture how amazing this place will be when it’s full of stores. I am confident that this place will thrive when they open many more stores. I went to Dillards and Maurices. They were both very nice and clean, employees were very friendly, and they had a great selection of clothes I liked. Lots of sizes to choose from, too. It was so easy to get in and out, and there was lots of available parking(though I’m sure parking will be a problem when more stores open). Perhaps one of the things I loved the most was that there are zero crowds. It’s so peaceful. And clean. If I lived nearby, I would be here all the time for retail therapy.

My Love: Dillards, What great Resort Clothes and when there is a Sale, you better get there! The prices are amazing!!! My 2nd Love: Ultra Star! $ 5 first feature movies on Tuesdays… its a brand new theater with cozy seats. Where can your get that? My Suggestion: This place should be an OUTLET Mall! There isn’t one for miles around here and they can get the ‘drive by” people and all the snowbirds this winter! It will also bring people from Parker, Laughlin, Kingman, etc. My Beef: No stores! My Biggest Beef: Seems like the owners of the mall, don’t care… HELLO anyone our there?

Didn’t find what I was looking for at the Laughlin Outlets the day prior, so I gave The Shops at Lake Havasu a try. First of all, a very new and beautiful shopping center. All the stores looked clean, at least from the outside. The main stores are Walmart, JCPenny, and Dilliards. There’s even a movie theater. But there’s one big issue, there’s not enough stores here. From the main street/highway, you think you’re going into a huge shopping grounds. It’s all a mirage with the department stores leading the way. The parking lot is also fairly empty, especially for a Walmart. I’m still a fan because there’s not much in Lake Havasu and it’s still considered a growing city. I did find what I was looking for and loved the fact that I got what I needed without really spending much time here. Wish this place would also add some restaurants. In the meantime, it’s best to drive down the road to London Bridge where most of the real food is at.

For the stores here, they are all clean, new and modern. I think the building of this mall took place before the economy tanked. So there is a lot of empty retail space here. It likely could have been filled up had the economy done better. I noticed the smoothie shop I went to about a year ago is no longer in business. I hope these stores can hang on long enough for an economic pickup. There is potential here but they need to get businesses set up here, even if they’re dropping the rental rates for a year or two. Tons of free parking. No crowds.

I can’t believe this place got almost 5 stars. There are about 5 stores total in this place. I would have to say this is a ghost town mall and you’re better off shopping at Ross. Dillards, Kirklands and JcP is all you have here and then a couple teeny bopper stores. I was disappointed.

I really enjoy visiting the shops, I really enjoy shopping with just a few people around in stead of crazy crowds like other places, but I also hope that is not a bad sign. Dillards is probably my favorite store, JCPenney is also super nice. The staff at both places are awesome and the assortments and categories are abundant. So glad to have the shops and also the smaller clothing stores!

It’s about time someone invested in this towns future. Havasu continues to grow and evolve, sometimes too slow. This outdoor arena of stores, movies theatre, eateries and even a small play area for small kids is great for everyone. This project completed at the downturn of the economy, which explains the vacant spaces. Hopefully management will successfully position good stores, restaurants and entertainment to continually draw people to it’s center.

It’s great to finally have a mall in Lake Havasu City. We’ve all driven by the signs for«The Centre» for the last 15 or so years, promising a regional mall. The Shops At Lake Havasu is open, and very well done. The mall is both beautiful and well executed. Now, as more and more stores start to fill it — we can all start to enjoy closer shopping.

So Havasu has a full blown mall now. I thought it would never happen and now the first anchor store is probably getting close to 2 years? The mall is definitely more grand and well done than I could have imagained. Besides the anchors which mostly already existed in the city, the mall has already brought some great new stores and brands to the city.
