Main Stitch Upholstery

I needed a couple small modifications made to my boat cover and ended up at The Main Stitch.
Rebecca and her employees were friendly.
I loved the friendly dogs roaming around the shop and the not-​so-​friendly Chihuahua guard dog!
Unfortunately they were super busy and probably promised more than they could deliver.
The work was not done when we were told it would be so we had to wait for it while it was completed. We had a small job and it was done good enough but it definitely looked ‘rushed’.
Seems like they are plenty busy with work. The place was chaotic and kinda unorganized.
I think in the off season this place would be great… but when they are overloaded with work… it’s just A-​OK.

We need just a couple little things on our boat canvas and some straps. We ended up with the attentions of three people and one little dog!
The seamstress/​owner really knows how the biminis are rigged so her repair made the whole outfit better than the factory did it. She saw us earlier than we had arranged and got us all done on the same day.
The office manager kept communication going efficiently, so questions didn’t stop progress.
The installer took off his shoes each time he climbed into the boat, gosh that is so nice!
The little dog? Well, he was obviously quality control because he kept an eye on everyone.
Our home is hours away and the quick attention meant that we got to get on the lake instead of spending our days off on boat maintenance. They had some big ticket stuff happening too but we just appreciate the time they took for our little job.

The people here are very friendly and helpful. I was surprised when I asked for a price on something I needed stitched and the lady did it for free. I know it was just a small job but everywhere else in town wanted way to much money and for them to take the time and stitch something up for me shows a lot about the people that work there and the company. I will defently go back and tell anyone I know how good there work is here. Thank you so much Main Stitch for your service and friendliness.
