Deb had our Cub Scout den in to learn about coin collecting. She was very patient with the boys and they learned a lot. My son left with a new appreciation for coins and history.

Wow — could not believe how busy this place was. All the employees seem to know their stuff. I had a bunch of random coins and jewelry, and apparently one of my gold coins was rare and netted me $ 350! The book they were using to check prices is the same one I purchased at Hastings so I felt comfortable with that. Eventually Deb took over my appraisal and her knowledge of coins and money is impressive.
I had not seen any ads for the place, but went on the recommendation of my mother (who’s been in LHC since 1991) and an ad I heard on Roger Galloway’s show on the radio.
After 45 minutes I walked away with a check for $ 1400. I will go back because they are knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and obviously good at what they do or the place would not have been as busy as it was. Several of the customers seemed to be «regulars.» Made for a great Friday the 13^th experience for me!
Another bonus: They are open on Saturdays until 3pm.

I did go back on ⁰⁵⁄₀₂ and walked out with $ 480. in cash. Not bad. It wasn’t very much stuff either. One of the coins I got $ 30. more than I was quote locally in CA. Definitely a good spot to check out if your looking to buy or sell coins, or sell some scrap gold.
