Bad Dogs Bar & Grill

Kind of like the a version of the Yard House, Bar in the center with tables around. Plenty of seating when we walked in. Best part is they were still open at 9:30 pm. For people that don’t know, pretty much most businesses shut down after 9:00 pm. Great atmosphere, service was a bit slow as we sat at the bar but the Warriors vs Cav (game 3) was on. We decided to eat there after arriving from California for the weekend and we were still waiting for our host to arrive at the Flying X before meeting with them. Great burgers and fries and onion rings. The portions are pretty big but I was so hungry i ended up eating all of it. I ordered the Patti Melt with Onion Rings and my boy friend ordered the Mac Attack Burger, which is the house favorite washed down with a cold Corona and the Warriors winning game 3 and it was a perfect evening. Definitely added to our favorite spots for next time! Thank you Bad Dogs for a great experience! We’ll be back.

Loved this place especially on Taco night. Our bartenders were Aaron and Brittany, they were more than good to us. Guided us to order the best food and showed us the best deals. Lots of great televisions to watch any game you want and make friends. This is my only five star restaraunt review.

Went for the UFC fight and at the door was asked if we were locals or out of towners. I’m not a local and was then told their was a $ 10 cover, but nobody explained if it was due to not being a local. Food was ok but ordered 4 different beers of their beer list and they didn’t have any of the ones I ordered.

We have frequented Bad Dogs for several years and enjoyed the food and service. The service is still great… not so much the food.
Replacing beans on nachos with some concocted cheese muck is unacceptable.
C’mon guys bring back real nachos AND while your at it we want the Mexican Pizza back too.

We used to come here almost daily for lunch. Don’t know what happened here but food if terrible service is just as bad. Last time I ordered a burger… burnt on the bottom and forgot the top of the bun. Fries are like tater tots… not even real potatoes. Owner needs to get involved!

If you like to sit outside, this is a fun place to watch a game and has a tropical feel. Food is overall better than average bar food. Waitstaff is overall really nice. Covered in tattoos and strange colored hair, its entertaining. The managers very nice, I would consider this the Steeler Bar in the area, everyone has one. Bacon/​guacamole burger is really good, as are their popcorn shrimp. Not sure if they have drink specials, but the drinks are fine.

Wow, what a horrible experience!
We used to like to come here, they had great daily specials, like today Saturday was half off all their Mexican food.
So when we got there the place was basically empty and we thought wow it’s Saturday night and it’s a ghost town. When the waitress came over we affirmed the special and she informed us that they were not doing the specials anymore. In 2 days the whole menu was changing and there would be no more daily specials. Bad idea Bad Dogs! People come for those specials and then drink, that’s where you make your money!
Enough on that subject, the real reason for the bad review is for the food, it was absolutely horrible! I ordered the Bad Dog Burger which had bacon, cheese and guacamole and specifically told the waitress I wanted it cooked well done.
When it came it looked really good, it was a good size burger so I cut it in half, and it was totally rare. So we told the waitress and she sent it back to be fixed. About 2 minutes later it came back out and looked cooked on the outside but once again it was still rare.
After all that I didn’t want it, I was not about to send it back again.
Now, my husband’s Burrito was not very good either but was edible.
We won’t be back this year, the new management needs some time to get it together and hopefully they will.

Bad dogs is an amazing place to eat and family friendly. they have every day discounts for certain foods and one day of every week (I think its Friday) every thing is half off. I got the bad dog burger. It had a very flavourful touch of avocado and a huge chunk of burger. all though it was very busy. our server was so nice and was sure to make our experience wonderful. Me being as OCD as I am it was actually very clean to my taste. When you get the chance go to bad dogs in the summer and sit outside it is so nice and if you go for lunch in the day time they will have misters ready for you! Hope you enjoy!

Saw a lot of good reviews so I brought my whole work group here. Food was horrible. My steak was over cooked and cold! And everyone complained about the tacos. Gross and cold! Server was very nervous and didn’t know what he was doing.

Bartender was very nice when she was around., took my food order and disappeared. Cook brought my food, had to get up and get my own water refill, when she finally returned I had to flag her down for another refill and napkins. Over priced food. Food was good but very over priced.

Cute, bar, maybe is should stay just a bar, the service was ok, but the food… honestly folks, nobody wants or needs to eat grease soaked french fries and grisly roast beef, simply gross.

Good food… did not like that they claim to have too many beers to list… asked for 3 different beers
Nope…gave up and had water.
Not that hard for a bar to create a list or set bottles on a shelf for you to see what they have.
Tacos Philly cheese all great… just annoyed about no beer list.

Awesome service from Tahressa;) badass food:) great breading on the strips and fried apps. My husband loved his sandwitch as well as both daughters pleased with their meals! Topped of with a perfectly seasoned bloody Mary! Way to go! This was our first meal as residents in Havasu; p hope they are hiring!

Came in for tacos and it was great! Tampson was an awesome server! She was quick and made sure we were happy with everything we had. We’ll request her next time were there. The tacos were yummy as was the Bloody Mary I had. Great vibe in this place. We love coming here!

Watered down shots and Management likes to make a scene in front of customers! Totally embarrassing!
Unfortunately this Memorial Weekend, this was the only decision that my friends and I made. On Sunday night of Memorial weekend (one of the busiest holidays in Lake Havasu) my two friends and I take a cab to down town, we were heading to the X bar, but wanted to grab a bite to eat. Our taxi driver said to go to Bad Dog’s they have ½ specials on their whole menu on Sundays!
So we thought we would be making the right decision going here. When we first showed up the place was COMPLETELY empty. There were only two other tables occupied and I think one couple sitting at the bar.
We ordered our food and a half pitcher of beer, and one of my friends ended up ordering a shot of whiskey for each person, mind you these are $ 6 – 7 shots. We go to take the shots and I couldn’t even bare to finish mine, because it was soooo watered down. I left half of the shot and it looked like a light tea, NOT Crown Royal whiskey.
I was going to mention something to the waitress after we paid the bill, but half of our bill was those shots! And I felt like the waitress should know that she’s serving watered down alcohol!
The only person who was nice and sweet was our waitress, so when I told her about the alcohol being watered down I asked her, if she could either remove the shots from the bill or get us shots that aren’t watered down. She said she was going to ask the bartender and come back in a minute. When she came back she told me that the bartender, puts the liquor in a martini shaker and chills the alcohol with ice.
I didn’t ask for a whiskey on ice or water, (an experienced bartender would know the difference) we wanted straight shots, and the bartender admitted to WATERING DOWN THE ALCOHOL, and told me that I would have to buy another $ 6 – 7 shot, and REQUEST it without being chilled!
I asked to speak with the manager at that point, I didn’t want to argue, but selling watered down alcohol because the business is too cheap to keep their booze chilled screams HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!
The manager came out, I’m 24 and I would be surprised if he was any older than I was, according to his actions, probably not. I explained to him and showed him the shot that I couldn’t even finish the shot because it was so watered down, and his bartender even admitted to watering it down, and at this point, not only did I not want another shot, but I wasn’t going to pay for that one either. He started to argue with me and defend himself and the bartender.
I’m sorry if you’re not mature enough to not take things personally but you shouldn’t be managing a service business. The manager and I both got so heated that now we disrupted the other two groups and one couple that was in the bar.
He threw his hands up in the air and by this time the bartender (a woman) was starring me down for 5 minutes from BEHIND the bar, this was the most uncomfortable dinner I ever had. And then the rest of the employees continued to gossip about this situation, where we could clearly hear them from across the restaurant.
NO wonder this place is EMPTY on Memorial weekend! The manager said it’s like this every year, BS. I was in that restaurant actually last year on Sunday night of Memorial weekend, and it was packed full of people, having fun, and the shots weren’t watered down.
Truth is, I’ve been coming here for years with my family and we’ve been watching it slowly go down hill, my parents have been locals for 5 years now and they said they will NEVER go there again, and I had to learn the hard way, I will never go back again either, nor would I ever recommend it to even my worst enemies.
To make it worse, we went to the X bar which is literally 3 – 4 doors down the block, not even 5 minutes pass and the bouncer at the X bar says «Don’t worry, we don’t water down our shots here. Word travels fast». SO EMBARRASSING, and rude!
Honestly, I hope this business doesn’t survive so we can get a place with good food, drinks and a staff that doesn’t embarrass their customers, like how it used to be.

Came here the other night to meet a family friend who is local. It is what you expect from bar food. Most of us ordered the Mexican food as it was half price on Saturday night. It was just ok but not the worse meal I have ever had.
Had a new waitress who was a little awkward and clueless. Not sure I would come back here.

Senior citizens and snowbirds go there for 50% off dinner specials, the only reason for some good reviews. otherwise tap beer is horrible and when I complained to waitress and she then told the owner /​manager he took no Action… Poor customer service, don’t you think
