Advantage Pools

With a couple of friends who already had there pool done by Advantage pools with awesome results it was a no brainer that we were going to have Bobby build our pool (we did get two other offers but were over our budget) so with that being said Advantage pools not only built us our dream pool, they did it within a timely manner and within our budget. Thanks to all the skilled professionals who contributed to an amazing pool and spa, we will recommend Advantage pools to all our friends, Thanks again Rick & Patty

As for Advantage Pools, I’m thankful I did not hire them for their services or have them end up doing my pool. Total trailer trash flakes is probably the best way to describe this company. After the owner gave me his word that he would get someone to come out and look at my situation of building my pool/​install and never showed up, never gave a return phone call/​e-​mail and never had the professionalism to let me know where things stand. How did this guy ever get a license? Yes I will be filing a complaint with the Arizona State License Board as there is no way this moron should be in business. I think the owners name is Robert/​Bobby. Do not trust him. He is what you call a CONtractor.
Just walked back in my office and saw my father in law unhappy as Robert or Bobby gave my father in law a hard time over the phone threatening to drag him through the mud due to the comment I left on Unilocal about his unprofessional. Holy cow, this guy is a true nut case. I may start needing to call the Lake Havasu City Police. I went on to do a little more investigating about our friend Robert (Bobby) and found out that his contractors license has been suspended multiple times. Looks like it was suspended on 08/​31/​2009, then again on 10/​18/​2007, and then again on 10/​01/​2011. Also looks like his corporation was disolve back in 05÷05÷04. This is all starting to make sense. Was going to call him back, though what for, look at his track record, it clearly explains what kind of business man he is. Thank god for Unilocal and the internet as you now know to keep your distance from this pill. Hopefully the board will suspend his license indefinitely and this way it will be one less unreputable contractor for all of us have to deal with.
Oh by the way if you do not want to take my word for it, go to the Arizona State Contractors board through google, on the first page 2/3^rd’s of the way down on the left hand side, go to search business, type in Advantage Pools, push search, and WHAM!!! READ!!! Don’t take my word for it, take the state of Arizona’s word. Proof is in the pudding. Just trying to do everyone a favor.
FYI: He will call you back and start threatening you as he’s doing it to me. By the way and he thinks something like this is a game. That is just how absentminded he is, it’s not a game. Wasting peoples time and being a liar is not a game. I’m going all the way with this nut case and going to do society and people who want a pool built, a nice big favor.

Advantage Pools IS as good as it gets in Lake Havasu. Great guys, timely work, beautiful pool and we got everything we wanted. Bobby is a man of his word and our pool was not an easy build. He had to reinforce the block wall that supports our yard, create this Shangri-​La in a very tight space and did a great job. I wanted lots of boulders, so he met me at the rock yard to pick each and every one. He brought the ones I had marked and put them exactly where I wanted. They didn’t mind me overseeing the boulder setting at all. Professional and honest. We love them!

When we first started looking for a pool company we called 4 companies to come out and give us bids to put in our pool, two never returned our call and two made appointments to come look at our backyard — only 1 actually showed up for the promised appointment. Robert, or Bobby, as his friends call him, came out dressed professionally, with numerous pictures to show us what he could create. He was fair, relaxed, and knew what he was doing (this is our 5^th pool), he had a price immediately and the bid included everything we asked for without trying to change our minds or up-​charge us. Because we live in a neighborhood with strict rules, the process can be more than most would want to take on, but Bobby did it all with a smile and a sense of humor. he stands behind his work, even fixing two travertine tiles which became damaged without any cost to us a year later. Thank you! the backyard looks incredible.

Getting a pool built is no small task and when i went about it i called nearly every pool builder in Lake Havasu City. I was informed by a few neighbors, that there is a pool company in town who does pools on the cheap and the cheap is what you get so I did not invite them to bid. Out of those other pool companies, Half did not show up. of the half that did half took nearly over a week to give me a price. I chose Advantage Pools because they gave me a price right away and seemed to know what they were doing. They get it. They had their own crew for nearly everything so i knew much of it would not be subbed out. Their crew is good local people and they are friendly. The results is what I expected in getting a pool done. When giving a review I always consider two things. Would I recommend them or hire them again? Yes. Were their prices fair? Yes. Was the Quality of materials and workmanship good? Yes. Too Bad they don’t let me put in a picture of my pool. Yea we luv it. Thank you all at Advantage for taking care of us.
