The manager of the store Andrew is the only nice person that works here. I had to talk to three different people to return a mug before they finally got the manager. Thankfully he knew what he was doing. The rest of the staff clearly needs to learn more from him. These young kids are salty and have no manners. Is it asking too much for a smile?

What’s a girl from Los Angeles doing all the way over here at the Smith Haven Mall Starbucks? Shopping with my daughter who lives on Long Island, that’s what ! It was at this VERY Starbucks that she turned me onto the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. Wowww !!! Talk about refreshing… it most certainly IS… and delicious… and minimally caloric. Can’t go wrong with this. Now I get it every time I hit up a Starbucks. Don’t ask why I never once saw this on any menu in Calif.

Long lines but then again all Starbucks is like that. Great staff work fast and effective making everyone going back to shopping quick. Store is clean and close to the middle point of the mall so you don’t have walk all the way to the food court if you want a coffee or tea. Love this location better than the one near my house.

Very inconsistent store. Watched my shots burn a few times I’ve been here. Other times my drink has been perfect. Besides that, I find it Understandable that they don’t have time to be super friendly because of how busy the store always is. But pleeeeease stop working on 4 drinks at once so my drink doesn’t come out tasting so burnt. Next time I will complain & point out the «barista promise».

This Starbucks is inside the mall and gets CRAZY busy all hours of the day.
During the holiday season? Get ready to stand in a long line to wait for your hot, delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte (My favorite)
There is nothing I love more than walking around the same mall I did as a teenager with a nice hot drink and window shop

It’s a small store and doesn’t feel welcoming to stop and have a coffee — more a pick up and go. However the cashier couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Sadly this was effortlessly wiped out by the server. She went out of her way to not to crack a smile or have have any eye contact. After receiving two orders, which I believe were only received thanks to sound recognition, I went on to top up my coffee with milk, only to discover the jug had ran out so, unfortunately, had to approach the server again. She acknowledged the jug, ignored me for a while and continued with making coffee, then took the jug filled it up and placed it back in the counter as if I didn’t exist… perhaps I don’t :)

As far as Starbucks go I would say that the food and drink are all basically same.
The only thing that differentiates one Starbucks from another is service and The location.
I ordered a grande Cappuccino wet, And it was as good as any other Starbucks.
Out of all Starbucks I have been to this location is my least favorite.
The amount of seating is lacking big time. And this location is always mobbed do to being in Smithaven Mall.
The service was very very slow, They had two baristas working and that is it…
Generally i go into any other Starbucks and there is at least 3 – 4.
Every time I go there I say it will be my last, But the smell of the coffee always drags me in.

Extremely busy and not built to hold as many people that cram in there no matter what time you go. I was hesitant to even bother but was really craving coffee and it smelt so damn good! But I couldn’t wait to get out of there!!!

It’s a Starbucks. In a bookstore. Coffee and books. Caffeine and history. Cup o’ joe and fiction. Java and literature. Iced coffee and novels. You get the drift. This Starbucks is inside the huge Barnes & Noble location outside the mall. Plenty of seating with lots of space to spread out on. Pretty much the same menu of products as with most branches. Same prices too and nice staff here.
Walking Dead graphic novels that I snuck over to my table while downing a monster sized iced skim mocha. Now I know who will die or become zombies this season on the show!

For Christmas weekend, they had a line out the door but they the employees kept their cool and made the drinks. I was expecting to see napkins and coffee spilled on the floor but it was clean as it could be during a Saturday night. They even had a employee at the end of the counter to pass out the drinks to everybody once they were done; something that a lot of high traffic Starbucks in Manhattan should have.
