Silvermine North

Today I my boyfriend and I visited Lake George and came to this store (one of the shops he enjoys visiting). We were taken care of by a great staff (I got a little annoying asking to keep seeing different pendants and necklaces). The entire store had great vibes and I am very satisfied with my purchase as well as the price! Make sure to snag the Unilocal deal!

As a customer who has shopped at silvermine for years i actually regret that i feel the need to write this review. Im a local glass artist, and i was shopping around, asking questions about some of the many hundreds of pieces they have, and the shop owner Dave was «helping» me out. He was giving me short responses and when i asked who the artist was that made something on more then two pieces he threw my I.D. on the counter and began reeming me out saying «stop wasting my time and that i was just looking at pipes cause i had nothing better to do» No one at any store i have ever been to in my life treated me like that and it made me really upset and flustered. Id just recommend going elsewhere

I am an LG connoisseur. Trust me ! I have been to this quirky, quaint. whatever you want to call it village since I was a little itty tiny baby. Silver Mine North has always been my gift shop since I was 16 :) Really cool jewelry and clothing. Be sure to take advantage of their 10 for 20 $ Unilocal deal !! See you guys next year !!

This is my first stop in my hometown whenever I come up to Lake George. It has been a staple in the community and a fixture in my life since high school. The shop has a great selection of dresses, shirts, posters, jewelry, and of course glassware. Prices are reasonable and they often have special deals or sales going on. If you are a local they definitely recognize you and that kind of customer service is something you won’t find in bigger stores. Ownership and employees are extremely friendly — whether you are a local and do most of your shopping in the off-​season, or you are a tourist in the village for the summer. I can’t recommend the shop enough and believe that it is one of the only places in Lake George where they listen to their customers and stock accordingly! Owner Dave, sales girl Mya, and the rest of the girls at the Silvermine North have helped me find gifts for friends, family, and myself. This may look like your standard hippie shop from the outside, but you really can find something for anybody here! SUPPORT SMALL LOCAL BUSINESS!
