We always shop at Merrell while in Lake George since there is no Merrell store in NYC. Shoes are exceptional quality but can be pretty expensive. But if you by two or sets of two, you get 40% off. Anyway we bought four pair of shoes and Sandals. They look beautiful. Two friendly ladies are always there to help you, but not push you to buy anything. We always feel comfortable shopping here. Merrell is for people who are looking for quality products, may not be suitable not for people with very tight budget.

As is well known, I’m a Merrell fan. This sign was what made me realize there was an outlet mall here at all. So that’s what started it all.
These stores seem to all have the same footprint and layout. They may even be told how to do the displays, I’m not sure. But they seem to all be awfully similar.
Here the two lady employees were really nice and know the shoes and customer types well. I watched them handle a full shop without difficulty. That got them the 4th star.

This is the 2nd Merrell outlet I’ve been to and the company must be doing something right because the staff is really helpful without being pushy.
I needed to get some new hikers for my daughter who is autistic. She can be fairly hesitate when trying to get her to try things on but the woman who was assisting us went out of her way to find out what we wanted. She spoke directly to my daughter about her shoes, measured her feet and found us a pair of hikers that were exactly what we were looking for without breaking the bank.
