Excellent found this gem on a business trip — wonderful food great service terrific staff.

Always on the lookout for good coffee shops and this is definitely a good one. 5^th star would have been for atmosphere. Breakfast burritos are fantastic primarily from how much you get for how little. The coffees are really good and stand out here for their taste. I had the coffee with hot chocolate and orange. Wow! Really surprised at how good it was.

Still coming in here and haven’t had a bad experience! Owner giggles every time I walk in cause maybe I go to much? Lol! So fast and easy and great price, I just can’t help myself!

Michael’s coffee house is my favorite neighborhood place. It’s family owned and operated, they really appreciate the business. The food is always good

I’m not a local in this area but I did some business here and I’m always on the lookout for great coffee so I Unilocaled & was curious to know what’s so special about this place. Well, oh well, the reviews were right!
I got a mocha latté and bacon breakfast burrito to go. The coffee was very good! Not Starbucksy-​CoffeeBeansy-​Peetsy kind of taste, no. The burrito has an interesting consistency that when you chew you wonder if that was the bacon or the hash brown or what? It’s yet the best breakfast burrito I’ve had. The young cute chick and maybe her mom (??) were friendly and nice. They leave quite an impression. :)
So, I will definitely be back especially for the coffee.

This place is totally underrated! Everything is fresh and handmade, one of the few places that actually has sprouts for their sandwiches ! && they probably have the best breakfast burritos w/​their homemade salsa The family who owns are the nicest ever and customer service is 100% They appreciate their customers and is defiantly The best local donut and coffee house

This place is amazing. I come here a lot and they definitely appreciate repeat business. I regularly come in to buy breakfast burritos or croissants so (for better or worse) the owners recognize me when I come in. I recently came in to buy breakfast burritos (Super tasty) for an office breakfast, and Linda was very sweet and helpful, and even gave me a coffee and donut on the house. Like I said, they appreciate repeat customers, and they are quick to show it.
I’ll definitely be back soon!

I have been neglecting this store for years! From the outside it is seems ordinary, no need to stop. However, when someone told me that Michael’s has an amazing blueberry glazed donut, that rivaled Donuttery, the neglect ended quickly.
The reviews are true, their customer service is friendly and welcoming every time. You can tell they love making their customers happy through our taste buds.
Check out the blueberry glazed with crumb topping. Phenomenal.

Love the waffles here and the breakfast burrito would love some chicken n waffles with those waffles. Service was good and place was busy so must be continuous good food.

Great coffee house with delicious sandwiches & crossaints. We had steak & egg burrito which was awesome. People working here are very pleasant & accomodating. Overall is a clean place & prices are very reasonable.

Such friendly service — there were multiple regulars there and they knew them all by name. They greeted and were very kind helping me as well. Delicious coffee and food. I can’t believe it has taken me so long to realize this place is here! Will definitely be going back :)

This is probably my favorite place to go after the gym. The environment and staff are so friendly and they always make whatever I want modified. Great place for protein shakes and a cup

Amazing donuts & breakfast burritos. Great service! The staff are always super friendly & welcoming. The owner knows my entire family, we are such regulars. Years ago my brother started ordering his breakfast burrito in a special/​custom way and ever since, all we need to ask for is a «Daniel burrito» and they remember exactly what to make.
I’m a donut junkie. This place is heaven. Decent prices; food quality rocks. My personal favorite is their glazed blueberry donut. or any of their cake donuts. YOMMM. Honestly all the donuts are delicious. They always give me so many free donut holes even if I only buy two small cake donuts. :) They have a large variety of sandwiches, bagels, breakfast plates, smoothies, coffees/​teas, fruit, etc.
I’m so happy this place is has the #2 BEST donut shop Unilocal rating in my area. Although they truly deserve to be #1. Go enjoy Michael’s!

My wife and I came here when I tried looking for a place to have a quick bite in the area. The employees here are very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Our order consisted of a latte, a breakfast plate with sausage, and a steak breakfast burrito.
The breakfast plate was good, with the eggs cooked perfectly. The breakfast burrito is probably one of the better ones I’ve had. I believe the burrito is pressed after being wrapped, so the tortilla isn’t soft or mushy. I also liked the flavor as nothing was overpowering, and there wasn’t any huge excess of tortilla.
It is unfortunate that this business is not near my home or any place I frequently visit, but for those who live or work near the area, this is a great place to go to.

Went there a couple weeks ago, ordered a roast beef sandwich, got back to work and had a pastrami sandwich. Also the additions I ordered on the sandwich were only half there. Went back today to give another try. Ordered roast beef and swiss cheese. Looks like they take the shortcut and use that processed shiny crap cheese instead of the real thing. Never going back!

I was skeptical reading the reviews because normally food around here is rated good but taste like styrofoam. We went here on national doughnut day since krispy Kremes is 15 min away. I got the sausage n bacon burrito & so glad I did. Don’t make the mistake of getting just the bacon if ur a flavor person cuz ull be sorry, it was fat n packed with hash browns eggs & cheese you can add onions n bell peppers for like a dollar n some change –_​_​_​_​– they give u this weak asz salsa (I had to ask for mines) but ehh it makes it wet so not extreeemely bad. I had a ice coffee which was good but too sweet plus they don’t shake it up they put all the sugar stuff at the bottom which kinda sucks cuz while u should be eating ur food is getting cold YOU have to blend ur drink –_​_​_​_​_​_​– my best friend had a ham n cheese which he liked, croissant & the bread was awesome! We both had a bear claw cinnamon roll style & it was delectable 2thumbs up!!! Best ever hands down! Problem was they gave us the wrong order :/​I sent it back then our stuff came but the croissant was noshow. The asian mngr lady says «oh let me see (she goes n get it n says) oh I didn’t charge u for it let me ring u up again» –_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​– but I just paid 13.50. So replay the math BC it’s not a itemized or price specific style receipt. She’s right she didn’t. But who’s lousy fault is this? I pay for the sandwich & grab napkins cuz yeh there r only 2, blend my drink & we enjoy our breakfast. We were stuffed & u can split a burrito & a bear claw with ur best friend & still be good n satisfied…
Side note to management: When u mess up as such ^^^ good customer service WOULD be to just throw the sandwich in the bag, say sorry, have a good day & come back again! Not rering someone up after they’ve already placed their order, paid, waited then expect them to dig in their wallets as they stand there with food & drinks in their hands in a full breakfast shop. Gotta get ur cust service skills up!

Typically, I come in around 10 – 11 a.m., when business is at its peak. Often, the wait is much longer than it should be because there doesn’t seem to be an efficient way of keeping track of everyone’s orders, and it sure gets hectic when people continue to come in and order while an already large group of people are waiting for their food as well. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t take away a star, and here’s why:
It’s clear that they’re very invested in their customers and their community. They are friendly, sweet, and patient no matter how occupied their small space is. They remember regulars’ names, converse with them, and appreciate them. On a bulletin board by the door is a collage of holiday cards and thank-​you notes from various families and organizations in the neighborhood.
Other than the people… The food is great, and the prices are unbeatable. My favorites are the croissant sandwiches (you can choose 1 – 3 meats) and the steak burrito. For most items, you can choose 1 – 3 meats, and I think even with 3 meats, the burrito still comes out to less than $ 5 – and it’s an extremely filling burrito, filled with hashbrowns, eggs, etc. And their salsa – one of a kind. Make sure to ask for one – or two or five. Everything is made to order, so you always get your food hot.
In addition are the donuts and the coffee drinks/​smoothies! Usually by the time I get there mid-​late morning, at least half of the donuts are gone, but they do restock some once in a while. Meanwhile, the coffee drinks are great and reasonably priced, and the smoothies are quite good (not all natural ingredients, but still).
