Pizza is consistently very good, with fresh ingredients. However, I took their rating down a notch because their frequent dining program delivered via their new app is absolutely terrible. They ran a $ 20 off promotion for buying between Monday and Thursday. I picked up my order and found out that I had to take a picture of my receipt, download it to the app and subnit it to their app vendor in San Francisco. I have exchanged several emails with the people in SF and still no progress. This is far more trouble than it’s worth. And aggravating. I will not participate in any more Lou Malnotti promotions, it’s just not worth the time and aggravation. Too bad such a quality pizza company ruins the customer experience like this. Not good for customer relations, Lou’s should get rid of this program. But their pizza is terrific.

I’m being generous with 2 stars. With establishments like Donati’s pizza, you should be concerned with your reputation. Donati’s quality, ingredients and overall taste surpass this establishment. I had to keep water next to me to prevent from choking on the dry deep dish pizza. Sauce was lacking big time. With a house hold name/franchise like Lous, I think the attention to detail lacks because of that. By no means am I soliciting for a certain company, but I’m merely stating facts and would want the same honest inputs from anyone else.

I am so glad my husband and I ordered from this location! The ladies at the counter were so friendly. The price wasn’t bad either. I was surprised at how small the personal pizza was, but I was even more surprised at how much it filled me up and how delicious it was! I will absolutely come back to this location when I am back in town!

Amazing pizza! Awesome price! Ordered two large pizzas, two orders of wings, six sodas, a frozen pizza for the house, tiramisu for dessert, & even a strawberry Italian ice! All for under $ 90. They have salad too but who cares? If you want veggies, add them to your pizza! Duhhh We got a Chicago deep dish with sausage which is awesome. You can get it uncut so the crust stays crispier… I didn’t do it this time since I’m taking mine to work. The other pie I got was sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, tomato, green peppers, spinach & onion. They offer a semi-boring ranch or awesome gorgonzola sauce for dipping their wings!!! It’s easy to find next to Starbucks and jimmy johns.

Great service, fresh, great quality… First Chicago pizza. As I New Yorker I still prefer New York pizza. If I’m back in the area, I’ll be sure to try them again

We have been ordering from this location since it opened, and the last time was 2 weekends ago. Today I called to place an order since we were having people over to watch the bears game. I was informed that after several years, they no longer deliver to this area of lake bluff. What? Why would you cut down your delivery area after years of delivering to us? My family and I also celebrate birthdays at Lou Malnati’s in Schaumburg, well not anymore! I have been a loyal customer my whole life. Now we will be ordering from Donati’s pizza.

This place has gone downhill for quality and quantity… We always order pizza on Fridays and we will not be ordering Lous anymore. We ordered last Friday on Halloween a «Chicago Classic», there is supposed to be EXTRA cheese and I feel like there was less cheese then on a regular pizza, let alone ‘extra’. People like the crust, we’re not fans, there are too many great quality ma and pa places around to eat sub-par pizza in Chicago

Living in Chicago we are so LUCKY to have choices in different types/style of Pizza. One of our favorites is Lou Malnatis. My husband and I became addicted to Malnatis in the early 1980’s when we lived in Lincoln Park. After we moved out of the city we were delighted to discover Malnatis was growing and finding their way out to the ‘burbs like us. Our favorite Malnatis location is only a few years old: west Lake Forest(not sure why, but the Highland Park location is only average). We enjoy ordering their deep dish pepperoni pizza, 3 cheese bread and Malnatis salad. Malnatis is a go to restaurant for anyone visiting Chicago and wants to enjoy deep dish pizza. Heads Up; these pizzas take about 40 minutes to cook.

Visited Chicago and was absolutely memorized by this outstanding pizzeria! For the week I was there, I ordered it twice! Favorite pizza was the sausage deep dish, and good news, it can even be ordered online and shipped frozen out to me in Arizona. HUGE plus! Whether you’re visiting or living near Chicago, this pizzeria is a must.

Lou Malnati’s usually does an excellent job. However, this pizza was only average. Additionally, they have the most unpleasant staff I’ve encountered from a carry-out place. Everyone, including the man who took my order over the phone, was nearly unbearable. I will not be giving them any more business.

Lou Malnati’s is the best pizza you can get in Chicagoland. Favorites: Pepperoni & Mushroom Deep Dish; big hunk of cheese, layers of spicy pepperoni, smooth mushrooms, chunky tomato sauce and a crispy corn crust. Can’t beat it. The thin crust is also out of this world.
