I’ve seen this place while driving so many times but never tried it, but today my son decided he wanted to go there and pick up lunch for both of us. I registered and ordered online, which was very easy, once we chose what to order from the large selection of sandwiches available, and my son was back in no time with the food even though he said the place was packed. My son ordered the Manhattan (salami, ham, and cheese, I think) on a roll and I ordered tuna and avocado on wheat bread, The ingredients were really fresh and the sandwiches were delicious. I’ll be back!

Large selection of sandwiches. Tried their trilogy (turkey, bacon, avocado) and was delicious. They also serve fresh juices. Orange Carrot was great. Small shop but great quality and outstanding customer service. Highly recommended!

Sandwiches are very fresh. Delicious sandwich rolls but not much meat. Prefer pay little more and get more meat.

Talking about friendliness!
Today was my first visit. It was off lunch hour so the shop was literally empty. Nonetheless, what immediately came to my senses was the friendly customer service especially from the cashier. From the way they treat customers, I am sure anyone who comes here will feel welcomed.
Menu selections are quite extensive, from meat sands to salads. Quite affordable too. My meal was 6 bucks for half sandwich, small soup, and soda.
The only downside about my visit was the lack of flavor in soda. The mixture wasn’t quite right and lacks fizz. But it could be just today, who knows. Not really worth knocking out a star.
My meal was served quick. Good sandwich and good soup. And good people.

Had lunch from here today and it was absolutely delicious n different! I had the submarine pepporchin & I wanted more! Good sized sandwich for 7 bucks and zapps Cajun dill tator gator chips talking bout a party n my mouth! And the lady n front was very nice n helpful. Next time I may try the squaw bread

I was curious about this small sandwich shop in a non-​descript strip mall in Lake Forest, as I have passed by it often. I stopped in the first time on my day off during the week around noon and OMG, the line was almost out the door. SInce I didn’t have anywhere to be pressingly, I figured what the heck, and stood in line to find out why all these people were willing to stand in this line for a sandwich here.
I have forgotten to take pictures of menu board in the store. I took home a to-​go menu and photographed the whole thing since their menu is pretty extensive. There are a lot of lunch specials that include a drink.
The owner, who is a very sweet woman, helped me. I ordered the regular submarine sandwich. This was made with cappacolla, salami, ham, provolone and Italian dressing. It was delicious. A perfect blend of deli meats and just enough Italian dressing to not overpower the flavors. Yum. They have a ton of sandwiches here, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, sandwiches on croissants, melts, wraps, etc. If you can’t find something here you like, I have no idea why you are in a sandwich shop ;P The Roast Beef Sandwich here is also amazing. This is the large size.
The quality of ingredients at this small shop really makes the sandwich.
The shop also serves breakfast which I have yet to try.
They are open Monday through Friday 6 am to 4 pm and Saturday 6 am to 1 pm, closed Sundays. Very small amount of seating inside. Personally, with a ton of people in line around you and it being kinda crazy during the main lunch hours, I don’t think I would really want to be sitting at a table in this small place with people watching you eat from like less than a foot away if they are in line. Most people are ordering stuff to go during their lunch break. You can call in orders to go, also. Owner is really nice. Don’t be dismayed by the crowds during the week. That is a testament to how good this place really is. Wish they were open seven days a week.

Why does it feel like my baby, I and the guy behind the counter are the last people on earth? This place was empty, and the shopping center was dead too! It must be Halloween tomorrow ;)
This little place caught my attention from across the street with it’s simple name and inviting store front. I love a good deli!
When we walked through the door, we were greeted and then given time to look at the menu. It is a basic deli menu with healthy options, hot sandwiches, wraps and classics. I chose the tuna wrap that had lettuce, shredded carrots, cheese on a spinach tortilla. And, it came with a side of macaroni or potato salad. My total was about 7.50.
And the man threw in a few cucumber slices for my daughter!
I would definitely go back. It is a clean, quaint, and yummy joint!

Great little Deli. I really enjoyed how nice the lady at the register was. She pointed out that I would probably like the turkey bacon avocado sub and I definitely did. Highly recommended as a quick lunch spot.

I’ve been here twice as its close to my work ! And I absolutely love how light the sandwiches are (I usually get the vegetarian) I tried the squwa bread last time and oh boy is it yummy. Perfect for a quick and light lunch. There isn’t much room to dine in with large groups so I usually get it to go especially when I’m headed to the airport. Highly recommend. I’ll be trying their breakfast soon !

I would give this place a 4.5. As many have mentioned, the lady who takes your order is super friendly. I ordered the honey mustard chicken wrap with added avocado.
The wrap was a big portion and they did not skimp on the chicken at all! The chicken was juicy and not dried out, it was not drowning in honey mustard sauce, all the ingredients were fresh, and they even toasted it to give the spinach tortilla a nice crispy seal. The best part was that it is very reasonably priced at $ 7!!!
They do seem to get busy during the lunch hour, but they do a great job of getting your food out fast. If you’re in a rush, I would recommend calling ahead for an easy pick up.
I will definitely be back if I’m in the area. Support the small business owner!!!

Friendliest deli ever!
I am a big fan of locally owned businesses and the level of care and service you get here is a perfect example of why. I had the submarine sandwich which was delicious. I would recommend getting the small as the large is essentially 1.5 sandwiches. They also had some fresh juices that looked amazing

All of the sandwiches I have had here are delicious. The lady at the counter has an infectious happiness! I feel happier every time I go in there, she is a ray of sunshine!

Great local spot, seems to be family owned and they are so nice! Great service and great food! Finally a deli that has squaw bread and sprouts! I get the #53 Turkado, add sprouts on squaw bread — delicious! Their breakfast burritos are also amazing! If only they had pickle spears! Anyways I love this spot!

I love this little deli! The food is always delicious and put together nicely, we’ve never gotten anything just thrown together! We normally stop for breakfast and see the gentleman working, I haven’t caught his name, he is always so kind and remembers when we come in. He also cooks the food and you can can tell that he really takes pride in his deli.
One morning we stopped by just after his daily bread delivery. It was smelled amazing, some were even still warm haha! The variety of breads is one of the reasons we love this place and the fact that we have never received anything tasting stale.
My favorite is the ham, egg, and cheese croissant with avocado. My husband’s favorite is the bacon breakfast burrito, some mornings he just wants eggs, potatoes, and cheese. The burritos are a decent size and the salsa is amazing as well!
This is a great place to stop by, the two people I’ve seen there, I believe are the owners, have the best customer service and really strive to provide good quality food to people.

I think a husband and wife own/​run this– they are both vey nice and make you feel very welcomed. Lots of selections, very fresh, and good size portions! I tried their Korean Ice Tea– it was very refreshing ! Their turkey avocado crossaint was great too. My husband ordered the #3, a healthy chicken sandwich. It was perfect, I will definitely get that on my next visit.

I got a beautiful breakfast croissant at 11 am. Nice to see a place serve food I want and not what they want to serve me.
I was so happy I came back for lunch. The spicy tuna is the bomb!!!

On the way to work, I was pleasantly surprised to see a food establishment open this early at 6:30-ish.
I walked in and the owner greeted me with a warm smile. I greeted him back, then proceeded to order a turkey, ham, & bacon sandwich. It was made to order which I was delighted since it was going to be very fresh unlike premade/​stored.
The place has a few tables for eating in but I suggest calling in your order to save yourself some time during peak lunch hours.
Once at work, I proceeded to stuff my face. I experienced a soft bread texture, mixed with a crunchy bacon snap as I bit down.
I gave this place a 5 based on the freshness of the products used to make this sandwich. Price was decent for the huge portions. For me anyways, I still have ½ sandwich left for later.
Also, the attention to detail, friendly customer service, proximity to work, & convenient hours of operation, thus inclinined me to give it a thumbs up.

I decided to try this place & pick up a sandwich togo since I work around the area.
Their menu has so much variety for such a small family-​owned shop! There were so many things like a healthy deli section, wraps, soup, salad, sandwiches, and melts. I saw that they have squaw bread and I LOVE sandwiches with squaw bread, but I was in the mood for a croissant today. I got the Lunch Special which included a turkey avocado croissant sandwich, a bag of chips, and a small drink ($ 7.53). The sandwich was nothing too crazy or special, but it was satisfying & really affordable. Also, the ingredients all tasted fresh so that’s a plus.
For some reason, their customers are 90% male. I came around 12:10pm on a Thursday and there was a pretty long wait for a small sandwich shop. I waited ~3 min to place my order and then ~10 to receive my order. This might be because there is only one lady working the front. so she literally does everything. Next time I plan on calling ahead of time to avoid the wait.
Also, don’t expect anything fancy because this is a super tiny restaurant with a few tables and no decorations at all. I rate it 4 stars because of the yummy simple sandwiches & price.
