I went here to get my first deck a few months ago. Lol back then I never knew what riding regular or goofy was and the guy was super chill about it. friendly staff, but there are always new people that seem skeptical of the shop since random skaters just chill on the couch and do some tricks in the shop. honestly, one of the last true skateshops.

We went back to get trucks and wheels for a skateboard my son made at the Etnies skate camp. We had a different person help us this time, but again they are so helpful at the store. My son brought in his old board and he also helped him by showing him how to clean his bearings. I definitely recommend this boardshop!

Gotta support local shops in this day of internet age. Been around ever since Etnies was created, and will hopefully be around forever. The people that usually work there are always friendly and of course knowledgeable.

I’d been having issues with my front trucks,(old school Gullwings*) on my longboard… so I thought I’d bring it by Focus Board Shop and see if they could help me out. Sure enough, Johnny(spellcheck) went through some spare parts and found me a replacement pivot cup. But not only did he find the part, he installed it without me even having to ask. Super chill guy and I’m really grateful to be able to ride my board again. The shop has quite a lot to offer, but falls a bit short for longboard gear. No worries though, I’d still shop here for bearings and what not. Got a kick out of the Santa Cruz Star Wars edition boards. Thanks Johnny for the awesome service and pivot cup. Keep it up man!

This is one of the best skate shops in SoCal. You can find probably anything you need. From Diamond bearings to 7/8″ truck screws, this place is the best. If they had some of the smaller, a little on the cheaper side parts I would be in this store every single day.

I was buying my 6 year old a skateboard and had many questions after reading the different recommended boards for a child. I wasn’t prepared to pay over $ 100 for a board, so called some stores about stock as well as recommendations. Focus is further than other independent stores from me, but no matter when I called or for what, they were friendly, down to earth, knew the answers and were honest about what to get. I love how they didn’t automatically recommend the most expensive complete boards or make me feel bad for asking about cheaper complete boards from a company. Because of their knowledge and legendary service over the phone, we went to the store to purchase some protective gear from them instead of ordering online or going to a closer store. Well worth the money to support them and I will definitely buy boards and gear from them if my son ends up liking skateboarding! Oh– and they were also very honest about re-stocking dates and honestly let me know whether to purchase somewhere else if I was looking for one of the other particular brandsin a particular size that they were not 100% confident would be in their store by x.mas. I called many different places and this, plus a couple of stores in Orange(who didn’t sell Completes) gave remarkable service and advice. Would recommend to any new skateboarders or even for experienced ones!

I drive the extra distance to keep shopping here! I came to Focus when I was brand new to skateboarding and the staff were super helpful and cool. They helped me build a complete to gel with what I wanted to do. It turned out awesome — I love it. All the deck, trucks, bearings, wheels, and bushings they carry are great quality. They also have a ton of labels and brands to rep whatever you like. Their selection of shoes are leagues better than any of the chain skate places. Between the abundant stock and helpful advice, I highly recommend this store.

Focus is 100% skateboarding! they carry all the brands that are still true to skateboarding these days and every one of the staff members rips! Ran by skaters for skaters, their buyers know whats hot and whats best for shredding on the streets or in the park. Real, Anti Hero, Girl, Chocolate, Deathwish, Baker, Flip, Element, DGK, Cliché, Plan B, Creature, Sk8mafia, Krooked, Toy Machine, Zero, Mystery, 4Star, Diamond, Heel Bruise, Nixon, Pro tec, Santa Cruze, vans, cons, lakai, dvs, independent, spitfire, etc. You get the picture, don’t come in here looking for affliction tees and sandals, if you’re serious about skating or looking to start, go to focus. Their experienced staff will set you up real nice!

Friendly staff, although, always new faces is suspicious of bad management. This place feels like a true old school shop. Nothing but authentic skate gear here. Perfect place to stop in before heading to Etnies Skate Park across the street.
