Dr. Deng is terrific. I’ve suffered from chronic sinusitis for years. After antibiotics and steroids not helping the pain I was desperate. He got me in for a new patient exam the same day I called. I was very skeptical at first but he worked wonders! He is so friendly and puts you at ease being there. He works on many different problems and it is nice because I can get my tendonitis, TMJ disorder, and sinusitis treated at the same time. I highly recommend him!

I have been dealing with daily stomach pain and«irregularity» for most of my life(29) and had been considering acupuncture for a long time. It had gotten to the point where I could not concentrate much of the day at work due to discomfort and pain. Sitting at a desk for 10 hours a day aggravates my symtpoms. I mentioned this at a family gathering(most of my family are doctors… so, that’s considered polite conversation –heh) and my uncle referred me to Dr. Deng who he had gone to for a bulging disc and had experienced major relief. Within two appointments I experienced significant stomach pain relief despite only sporadically taking the herbal supplements Dr. Deng supplied me. Since the fourth appointment, I have not had a single day of stomach problems or pain after almost two straight years of having significant daily pain. It is hard to emphasize what a luxury this is for me. My regularity still has a bit of the way to go, but is vastly improved. Dr. Deng does not come cheaply, but compared to the dozens of various specialists I visited and the thousands I’ve paid for prescriptions(e.g. Amitza cost me $ 275 with insurance for a one month supply) that either didn’t work/cause more pain or were too powerful for daily use, he is a bargain. More importantly, you can’t put a price on quality of life, which has gone up significantly. Dr. Deng himself is quite an interesting and accomplished man with a strong pedigree. He has both a traditional MD doctorate and a doctorate in Eastern Medicine. Before becoming a full-time acupuncturist he was, appropriately for my case, a gastroentronolgost. He was a professor of/taught Eastern Medicine at John Hopkins. Bottom line, this is a guy knows his stuff and gets results.
