I went here for breakfast last week. Asked for the Pancakes and eggs. Got told the grill was full. I looked around and only myself and one lady was in the place. I asked how long and was told 30 minutes I asked for a manager. He said they were prepping for the lunch rush at 6:45. I was not going to comment here and sent a notice to the main office. Not even a single response. Hope the company goes out of business at this point.

Service is usually fantastic and food is always great but every time I ask for extra avocado on a salad or jalapeños, I get the same amount as before when I didn’t ask. My family and I come here almost everyday because the food is great so I just wish they wouldn’t be so stingy with their toppings. I’d rather be charged and get what I want.

Service is always so nice here! And the place is really warm, spacious and cozy! I love getting their turkey panini and a chai tea latte. They can also customize the sweetness on their drinks, which is a total bonus. AND their chai tea latte is cheaper than Peet’s across the street!

For the second encounter I have again been given horrible and rude customer service by the takeout lady. Kristine was the one helping me this Wednesday evening and wow… I’ve never been off so by an employee for simply asking for more bread. Such a shame because the food is always good but your take out people at this location are so rude

The service was quick… but the food itself was very bland. I got the tuna salad sandwich and could barely taste the extra ingredients. Maybe it was because it was practically an icicle? Not sure but my boyfriend had the gobbler and hated it. He’s not one to send food back to the kitchen but this time called for it. He too said his sandwich was ice cold and bland, the ingredients didn’t exactly blend well together since the stuffing tasted no different than bread plus it was just mush. He recommends it to be a hot sandwich with gravy instead of the cranberry mayo and the stuffing to be actual chunks of bread. Like toast the pieces first to help keep the firm instead it turning into baby food. It would receive no stars if I could but the manager made up for the situation with a refund on his sandwich and a cookie for the troubles. Maybe next time if there is one As of 12÷4÷154:30am: your tuna salad sandwich gave me food poisoning… need to check how long things have been sitting out and when it was made in the first place

I had the Banana Crunch oatmeal and it was delicious. The cashier was slow but the waitress who brought us our food was very attentive and helpful.

I’m so surprised the management would allow their employees to vacuum the dining area where I’m seated while I’m still eating! I do not want listen to a vacuum while I’m eating with my husband. Just rude. Restaurant doesn’t close for 10 more minutes. They couldn’t wait 10 minutes. All the desserts were put away too so I couldn’t even order dessert with my dinner.

So so so good. First time here & loved it. I ordered a pasta combo with the Mac&3 Cheese(with the bacon & tomatoes) + the Cesar salad. I was so satisfied with my meal, it wasn’t too heavy and I didn’t feel hungry after. The service was good, no complaints. I just wish I woulda got a little bread with my little Cesar salad. The Mac &3cheese came with a small garlic bread which was so scrumptious. Overall, great & satisfying.

Craving a panini, stopped by for the second time ever. They just added Butternut Squash soup to their menu and I think I like it better than Boudin SF. Minus the walnuts of course ;( Worker at reg was awesome he was about 20 years old and just funny. The panini wasn’t bad, it was soft enough to eat the bread which was a plus. Hate when places make the bread too thick or hard.

I used to love this place for breakfast but food quality Isn’t good anymore. Very saggy and old strawberries on my pancakes, tasteless breakfast paninis, Etc Time to move on to other breakfast places I guess.

I tried the new Gluten Free flatbread as part of their consistently good«Trio.» The Flatbread by itself is fresh, citrusy, cheesy but healthy. But, not very filling. However, when I combined it with the Quinoa BlackBean salad and the Avo salad, it made a complete and satisfyingly healthy meal. Service was very friendly and helpful. Management was also very accommodating. Great experience. Grab the Flatbread with The Trio before Corner Bakery closes the loophole and raises the price!

Not what I had hoped for. I was thinking a bakery would have good baked goods. And this might have been true here but for the fact that they microwave the hell out of everything to the point of making it so chewy that I ended up throwing it out. Coffee was good but just warm and not hot Also the girl getting my order together was handling the money, register, her hair and my food all without putting on clean gloves so that was a little gross

I got the Anaheim scrambler. The guy noticed they forgot to put avocado on it then gave me this awful looking side of avocado brown and mushy! The whole breakfast was subpar :(cookie was good though. I’m sad because my mom and i used to always go here and it’s just not the same anymore. The quality of food has really gone down.

I wish I could give more stars but for whatever reason this location is not well run. The soda machine was flat on every soda, there was napkins and trash on floor etc…

I just got back from Corner Bakery Café after participating in their promotion for a free ½ size Spicy Asian Pork Sandwich and bag of chips.(if you haven’t already signed up and happen to see this review, go here: ) The sign up process only took a few minutes. When I arrived, I was outside of my designated window by 20 minutes and they still accepted my reservation. I was happy since I drove from RSM to grab it! The lady at the checkout was very kind and offered great service without rushing us to put in our order and leave. I placed the order to-go and grabbed my free cookie from their mailing list to go with my sandwich and chips. I am writing this as the other half of my cookie stares me down from the top of my keyboard. I can’t finish it, but the sandwich was finished in no time. Let me describe the sandwich to you, dear reader. It starts with a toasted bread, and the pork on the inside is tender and full of flavor. Very easy to bite into. The bread refuses to cut the roof of your mouth like a ciabatta roll. The listed ingredients from their website are«Shredded fire-roasted pork, sliced cucumbers, spicy slaw, pickled jalapenos and cilantro with spicy Asian barbecue sauce.(720 cal)» I am very calorie conscious, so I am happy with the half size. I skipped the Asian barbecue sauce because the tanginess ruined something for me. The flavors didn’t match. The carrots, cucumber, and jalapenos leave a fresh crunch in your mouth. I would order the full size of this without hesistation. Thank you Corner Bakery for your fun promotion and delicious food. Can’t wait to come back!

Lots of delicious tasty food here. Panini sandwiches salads soups and a variety of tasty desserts. I have found the food there to be very tasty, especially the Cobb salad. I find my self going there more during winter months than summer.

Disclaimer: I too work in customer service, albeit a different industry. But having worked in a restaurant I will attempt to be as unbiased as I possible can. Service from the moment we walked was disappointing. The cashier whom I will not name for his privacy, asked if we were ready and walked away before we got a chance to answer to chitchat with his colleague. As we were ordering he was impatiently hurrying us despite not having a line behind us. We promptly concluded our order, and were brusquely handed our number. We were shooed away so her can get on with his conversation. I know there are one off situations but it seems that there is a general lack of customer service and common sense among the staff. This was further bolstered when I logged in to Unilocal. Food is mediocre here… yeah not much there. Save your money, stick to champagne bakery.

This is my go-to location when I want something from CB. I come in at least a couple times a month, usually for dinner to go. the place is always clean and service is friendly. I usually get the Café Combo w the Asian Wonton Salad and Tomato Basil soup. The salad greens are fresh and the soybeans are plentiful. The dressing is kind of salty so watch out. The tomato soup is yummy, although on the salty side, too(I guess I like salt). The meals come with a piece of foccacia that I really like(pretzel bread is good, too, especially w mustard). I’ve also tried the Tomato Mozz sandwich on ciabatta bread… Yum. It comes w arugula and red peppers instead of lettuce. Love it. You get a bag of CB chips with your sandwich, too. Nice and salty. :) My fave breakfast is the yogurt parfait, which comes in a big cup(16 oz, I think) if you get it to go. Coffee is good at CB as well. My only gripe is that for a bakery, the baked goods are not as good as they should be. I think they must keep things frozen because I never have smelled the delicious aroma of cookies or cakes baking… Or bread either. Have you? Oh well, I’ll continue to get food to go and make a trip to French’s or The Mill when I want a real bakery experience.
