Subs N’ Cup

Tried this place for the 1^st time today! Service was Awesome! Food was Rock Solid Delicious!!! Tried the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, Ortega Burger & the Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries. Heard they will be serving Beer also Soon.
Happy that we have a New Favorite Family Run spot in Lake Elsinore!

Called in an order for the first time to try this place. Looked at the menu here on Unilocal and decided on the Californian. Called and asked for a Californian. We get our order home and we have a club sandwich. I call to see if we received someone else’s order and they say «No, what did u ask for?» I said the Californian and they said well we sell more Californian Clubs then subs so that’s what they put in. Even tho I didn’t say Club. Wouldn’t the person on the phone clarify what kind of sandwich we want if they have two sandwiches with the same name? As for the sandwich, nothing special the cheese on the sandwich is disgusting. Didn’t try to rectify the situation and No apology when I called asking if we got someone else’s order. Wouldn’t eat here again.

I really, really wanted to like this place. I live right by the Ortega highway so I’ve been seeing this place and been dying to try it. Especially because of the snow balls. It peaked my interest. So today I decide to stop because I’m starving and on my way home and didn’t want to cook. I didn’t realize it didn’t have an inside to sit and eat. But that’s not a big deal, as I could just take it home. I ordered a kids meal corn dog and a Philly cheeseteak. I also ordered a snow ball with a scoop of ice cream added. The total came to 19.50 which was pretty expensive in my opinion because my sandwich came with no drink or fries. Anyways after a few minutes the guy came to tell me they were out of corn dogs so I said chicken strips would be okay. Food was faster than I expected. Once I got home I realized that my son’s kids meal was supposed to come with applesauce and a drink that was never even offered to me. It made me mad because I’m a single mom and don’t have much money and stopped at this place on a whim and was very disappointed. My sandwich was bland and lacked any flavor. You can tell they use cheap ingredients because even the cheese had no flavor. I’m not sure what kind it was but it was white. My son’s chicken strips were good but the fries either had no salt or a ton of salt. Like they just threw it on one area of the fries. The snow ball barely had any ice cream. I was sure they didn’t put it in until I finally hit a small spoonful at the bottom. I wouldn’t go here again unless someone else was paying. The food is okay but not good enough to spend my own money on. And I think the management is poor because the employee did not even offer me the drink that’s supposed to come with the kids meal and he wasn’t aware they were out of corn dogs. I say try it once but check your order to make sure they aren’t ripping you off.

So far have ordered the BLT… four times… yep that’s how good is.

Good Food! I’m really happy they opened up there. I’ts very convenient to hit on the way home, or for a snow cone in the middle of the day. I have had the Bacon Cheese burger special and the Tuna melt. Both are very good and made to order. The burger is top grade meat. The grilled flavor rings out. I love Tuna Melts! Their’s is huge and tasty. I can’t finish it in one meal. The fries are excellent! i’m pretty sure they make them from scratch. Service is very friendly and down to earth. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Great new fast food location at the entrance to the Ortega Frwy.
Subs, Burgers, Wings and Snowballs.
My 10 year old son says it was the best snowball he’s ever had.
Good Food, Great Service, Good prices.
Oh and there is a great enclosed patio in the back.

I love the service! While I was waiting for my food I used the restroom located behind the building and to my suprise there was a really nice seating area. BTW the restroom was very clean!
The fries were great! The burger special was good, missing the onions :-(. I will be returning to have more stuff on the menu. My next choice will be the Cheese Steak! And of course more fries!

I order a jalapeño cheese steak and it was ok. They need to put more cheese on a cheese steak sandwich. I had to put more cheese when I got home. I also order a egg and bacon sandwich and it was ok. Nothing special. They have to put more meat on there meals. For the price you pay you expect more. Don’t get me wrong food was ok. But you want to be different if you continue you are not going to make it with those prices.

I’m super happy there is someplace to eat off of Ortega Highway. That being said, the convenience of the location is the primarily appeal to me. Bacon Cheese Burger and Sub were good, not special, but good. Fries were the highlight to me. There is no indoor seating, just two picnic benches. There is a nice view of the lake, but lots of noisey traffic yards away. Might go back for specials, otherwise a little too price w/​drinks and side to consider a value. If you have children shaved ice or «snowballs», as they call them might hold some appeal to you.

French dip and teriyaki cheesesteak are my favorite. But everything on the menu is amazing! Snowball syrup is not overly sweet and the flavors are terrific. Customer service is amazing! Not inexpensive or low in calories but worth every bite!!! FYI the chili for the chili fries is to die for and try the egg over easy on the burger!

I tried this place for the first time last week. A gentleman recommended I try the Ortega sandwich. It was delicious! It’s not typically something that I would choose but I’m very happy that he recommended it. You definitely need to try this new place! It’s family-​owned and the family is very nice and goes out of their way for the customers! I’ve heard that the snowballs are delicious too!

Awesome place to grab a bite to eat the staff is very friendly and attentive. Clean and it looks like they have remodel also looks as if you can eat out back?? They even serve breakfast. If you are in the area I would check it out. Oh yeah the snowballs are the best around especially with the scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom good amount of flavors to choose to top your snowball with. My daughter which is 11 loved her sweet treat. will be going back.
