Juan Pollo Chicken

The portion size is huge. Service is slow and not very friendly. My order of the Giant Burrito had chicken bones in it. The potato salad is really good and so are the beans. For a fast food chicken place it will do when I want some pollo.

I am so happy with the Juan Pollo in Lake Elsinore. I had them cater my father n laws funeral reception for 65 people. Its was ready for pickup, well priced and delicious. The party packs come with chicken, rice, beans, potato salad tortillas and salsa. There was plenty of food for my guests! Thank you Juan Pollo Lake Elsinore.

I have been coming here with my family for years and the food is always great! The chicken is very soft and seasoned perfectly. The beans, rice, and potato salad are also really good. The only thing that needs to be upgraded is the dining area. The tables are small and not very inviting. However, it is not enough to stop me from continuing to come back.

This place has good food for a good price. Chicken is good. Rice and potato salad are great. Need to invest in decent chairs and tables. At least chairs. They would be better off with even 7 $ plastic chairs from Walmart. Could be dangerous for elderly.

A family favorite! We’ve been going here for years and they have never disappointed. The chicken is wonderful, the rice is delicious, but the potato salad is the standout for this group. I often have to buy a separate, additional potato salad for the addicts in this group. The staff is always pleasant and the service is fast. Highly recommended!

I was going to give them 4 stars, only because sometimes the chicken seems a bit too soft, over cooked maybe? maybe they boil it before they broil it, but, then I remembered I can feed a gang of grown men under 30 bucks, the other day for like 20 bucks, I got two chickens, a bunch of tortillas, beans, rice, two huge containers of pico de gallo, and sauce. No way the other Pollo place can even come close to their deals and their authenticity… So five stars it is:

Perfect chicken.

I enjoy Juan Pollo as a quick take out option every couple of weeks. I have noticed that cleanliness varies at different locations. That has never been an issue at this location. Always clean and tidy. Such an inexpensive option to feed a crowd! The potato salad is better than most homemade recipes!

Hands down to this place! 5 stars all around! They’ve mastered the perfect chicken and I wouldn’t go elsewhere anymore! A bit pricey for a chicken $ 10 each but worth every penny! I would recommend this place to everyone! The Owner knows what their doing when it comes to chicken!

Love this place, you can get a lot of food for a decent price. My fiancé and I usually just share a dinner special and it’s always more than enough. We’ll keep coming back!

We were in town for the day and didn’t want to go to a chain to get some food. Wandered by Juan Pollo and had no idea what to expect. When we got there, the smell was incredible. We saw a huge number of chickens ready to eat and on the rotisserie and I was immediately impressed.
We were greeted with a friendly, professional server who took our order and told us about the menu. They have very good values, ranging from two piece deals and tacos all the way up to full chickens on a plate! We were pretty burned out on overeating from Christmas so we each got a two piece meal.
The first place we’d want to compare this place to was originally El Pollo Loco. But EPL grills their chicken — this place rotisseries it. Secondly, we might compare to Boston Market. The thing about Juan Pollo is that they cook it like Mama’s chicken. It’s incredibly juicy, flavorful yet not overloaded with too many «herbs and spices» — it has a great flavor. The skin is perfectly crispy yet the meat remains juicy. We even had white meat, though we usually get dark.
This place does not have a hundred sides and varieties of salsas like some chains. Please go to Juan Pollo to eat what _​they_​do best. Their sides are astounding. The potato salad was delish — not an acid bomb like a lot of chains — and it has a surprise ingredient which really makes a great flavor (not fear factor — just good — I won’t spoil it). And the rice — warm, moist and flavorful.
I don’t know if this food is American, Mexican or whatever — but I can say this for sure — this is pure soul food. This place is very legit and the service is professional and inviting. I wish this place ongoing success and I do look forward to going back!

I have had various visits to this Lake Elsinore Juan Pollo location as well as a few others. I must say that these restaurants have never let me down. The moist and juicy roasted chicken is delicious with its nice piece sizes, tortillas, potato salad and hot flour tortillas. Whether ordering a small meal or party size order its a restaurant to always support and keep in mind. Of course the restaurant has other usual items to round out any meal or combo packs. Will definately remain a supporter of their delicious and tasty food! Oh yes, their signature potato salad I sometimes purchase for other meals or occassions at home.

Love the chicken and love the potato salad. I want to give them four stars for their good food. Why only three? Do something about the toilets Juan Pollo. The toilets stink. Clean toilets are very important in a restaurant. The toilets also need to be renewed. I hate it when I go wash my hands so I can eat chicken with my hands but can not get out without touching the toilet, the towel dispenser, the faucet and the door.
Besides that, I am a regular customer and keep going back for more.

Been Coming here for years and I can say I am NEVER disappointed. Love the potato Salad and their salsa is BOMB!

Been in the area for over a year and had always been reluctant to try this place, but on the recommendation of a friend while in search for potato salad I finally made the stop. Boy was I surprised! First, yes the potato salad is awesome. The chicken is delicious definitely gives el pollo loco a run for their money. Great food and fixings for a great price! Try to get the family meal deals you won’t regret your decision. The only things this place has going against it is it’s location and interior atmosphere. It basically looks like a converted house. Otherwise, give them a try for your stomach’s sake.

Drove 30 minutes to come and eat dinner, but they are out of chicken. How does that happen?

Food is good. chicken has been a little dry but it was still
only complaint is just the few last times i been there customer service sucks the guys there look so unhappy.

Potato salad– ⁵⁄₅.
Potato salad was GREAT and the only reason I would go back. Chicken was dry and tasteless — I can get much better & cheaper chicken at Costco or Vons. Rice and beans are nothing special.
TWO STARS really. Third is just for their amazing potato salad.

What’s not to love about this place?
The chicken is just so much higher quality then the crazy chicken place in town.
The prices are competitive and the food taste excellent it’s my chicken stop whenever I’m in Lake Elsinore love this place 5 stars for sure

Juan Pollo is so good! I always get their mini pack, and it always taste amazing. The chicken is always tender, and the glaze they put over the chicken is phenomenal. The service is always fast, seems like on average it takes less than 5 minutes to get my food. For $ 17, personally that is a good deal for the amount of food you get, this is definitely one of my favorite places to eat when i visit my parents in Lake Elsinore/​Corona
