Pizza Boy Pizza

Best pizza in town! The prices are a bit higher then everywhere else, but definitely worth it– unfortunately my budget doesn’t allow for it as often as it’s $ 5 — $ 7 pizza competitor’s nearby. I only have 2 «complaints,» but they won’t take away from my review/​score– 1. Being it’s very apparent they need a bigger location that offers dine in as the bar and few tables barely hold the people that are just waiting on their food to rake out, and 2. Being that they’re closed Monday’s, I have caught myself 3 Times in the last 2 months in route to get food, only to realize they’re not open on Monday’s. I get the Monday blues bad so by dinner time, I’m not wanting to even climb the stairs on my front porch, rather the less cook dinner, & alas «my hero» aka pizza is yet again having to be settled for cheaper competitor’s food.

By far the best pizza in Lake City! I have ate here several times and have never been disappointed.
Nice friendly people, clean facility and good location. Only negative the donor have a dinning area.
I recommend the pepperoni pizza, garlic knots and cold drink.

I have lived in Lake City for a year and this is my go to place for local pizza. I am not a pizza guru but I think it is New York style. Thin-​ish soft crust with great flavor.

Amazing pizza! They have odd hours because it’s not a chain. I believe it’s family run. I always see the same people. You get addicted to there pizza and when there closed your so sad! Only place in lake city you can get New York style pizza and it is so good! Lick your figures good! Needless to say we are regulars here!

Food is good… I like the meatball sub. Good portion and they make it when you order. Service is quick. Only issues was small dining area and restroom was out of order. If you don’t want to eat from a chain restaurant check them out. The location is centrally located.

Pizza Boy Pizza is the best pizza in town. All their other items are also great. They served the best of their baked spaghetti and cinnamon knots. Will be back.

I had no idea this gem existed in Lake City. I stumbled upon it during a visit to Winn-​Dixie, which I had not visited in years. Upon parking in the WInn-​Dixie parking lot, I realized there was a pizza shop next to it and decided to check it out. I went into Pizza Boy, read the menu, noticed how good it smelled inside, and how clean it was. I decided to order a pepperoni calzone, an order of garlic knots, and several cannoli for dessert. The calzone was huge and it was so delicious! This is seriously the best calzone i have tried in the Lake City/​Gainesville area. The portion was so generous and it was stuffed full of fresh ricotta, real mozarella, and fresh pepperoni. It was phenomenal! The garlic knots were fresh and melted in my mouth… just fantastic!
The cannoli’s were the best i have ever tasted outside of Little Italy in NYC. The filling is so creamy and smooth and filled with chocolate chips. I have had dreams about their cannolli since I ate food from Pizza Boy… it was so good!
I highly recommend this place and will be back!

The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is that they do not deliver. Their Pizza, Baked Spaghetti, and Cinnamon Knots are Fantastic!!!
