It’s not very big so it’d be good to make a reservation if you want somewhere to sit down in air conditioning for a little while. Insides well decorated. Had to wait around a little while after our reservation time to get seated, though. Water has a metal like taste. Wasn’t so bad with lemon. My cheese steak was really good where the meat was. The other half was just bread basically. Fries were a little over done but manageable. They’re the same fries you get anywhere else in Disney world. It wasn’t an amazing experience, but id consider it again for the ability to relax. If I ever ate there again I’d probably try something cheaper than the 17 dollar cheesesteak.

Food at The Plaza is nothing special. It’s your basic everyday sandwiches but at a disneys sit down restaurant. We had the plaza club and the ruben. Both were good but not magical. The dessert however was awesome. Which is the reason I wanted to eat there in the first place. Definitely recommend getting the banana split. Just writing about it is making me want one right now! All and all this place is o.k. I recommend skipping the food and just coming for dessert. You can easily grab the same sandwiches at a disney quick service location. One quick note though. If you are on the disney dinning plan The Plaza counts as one sit down meal. I would recommend paying for your meal instead of using your points because the prices are very low for a sit down meal and it would be a waste.

If I could give it 3 ½ stars I would. The food is very decent for theme park food. I had steak sandwich and it was very good. Also kept me full all day! Most of my party got the same. My husband had the pulled pork burger and loved it and he is quite picky when it comes to food. Our waitress was friendly for the most part — although working at the magic kingdom you would think they would be the friendliest wait staff. When we say we had a highchair at the e d of table and some other waitress proceeds to tell us no one who can’t drive is allowed to sit at end of of table with a short attitude. Not to mention the hostess was the one who put the highchair there in the first place. Also in regards to the hostess… Needs improvement, we had a 3:20 reservation and some very hangry toddlers– we showed up early about ½ hr. And checked in and were told we probably would not get sat till it was closer to our reservation… Ok. We went back about 5 min till the reservation and still waited then it became 5min after reservation and were told the party that was at our table was still eating! My irrate sister in law went back 10 min after and complained that we had a reservation and very hungry kids, they told us they usually try and seat within 15 min after reservation– we probably waited 20 min after our seating time. So keep this in mind when eating here there is a possibility of having to wait. We did not get any dessert because we wanted to try other things in the park– but they did look delicious as they passed our table– but there is also a counter service for there icecream concoctions outside the restaurant… Would reccomend this place of you are looking for something better then concession stand hotdogs and hamburgers :) oh and you get a nice view of Cinderella’s castle– which was my favorite.

This restaurant overlooks Cinderella’s Castle, and I liked the sandwiches, and the piece of chocolate cake. I could imagine Captain Hook sitting next to me.

I love this restaurant. They serve some good old classic american food. If you like burgers, hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, milkshakes and so forth, this is a great restaurant to sit down at and eat. Its got an old school main street theme to it. Excellent restaurant to get a decent meal for a decent price.

I decided to make reservations for The Plaza Restaurant since we were there over the Christmas holiday. The restaurant was busy, even a couple days before Christmas. We were able to be seated right at our reservation time and were not raced through the meal. The Plaza Restaurant is probably one of the less expensive sit down restaurants with service. The restaurant was clean and plates were promptly removed from the tables. I ordered the hamburger, which was pretty typical for Disney but better tasting than usual. Everyone else ordered the Reuben sandwich and all were really happy. The service was good and attentive, without being over-the-top. Overall everyone was happy with the choice in eating here.

We booked this for our table service option with the Disney dining plan after reading good reviews elsewhere. The food is subpar and menu is very limited. Disney has so many better table service options than this with much better food and menu choices.

We had a reservation for this restaurant when we were in Disney. We got seated a little after the reservation time. We all got water; the water in Disney or just that part of Florida tastes absolutely terrible, even the lemon we ordered couldn’t cover up how nasty it was. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich, it originally comes with hummus but I substituted it out for ham(free of charge). The sandwich came on focaccia bread(didn’t taste like focaccia; I wish it was toasted) it had mozzarella, pesto, tomato, lettuce and cucumber. The sandwich also came with a side(chips, fries, or broccoli salad), I got the broccoli salad and it was terrible. It tasted like bitter stems with some mayo. I’m like, where’s the broccoli? I love broccoli, it did not taste like broccoli. My vegetarian sandwich cost $ 14, it was not worth it. Do not bother coming here, spend your $ 14 on a hot dog or something, at least that will taste decent.

I have been to a small handful of the table service restaurants at Walt Disney World. When we decided to plan three days in the Magic Kingdom, I thought it would be a good time to try something new. I should have known by how easy it was to get a reservation(and change my time once!) that the restaurant probably wasn’t amazing. The service was Disney as usual(without any pixie dust), but the food was barely a step above frozen patties. There was a fun bit with the 100th customer of the day, who sat down next to us. The mayor came in and made a loud spectacle of it all. A fun diversion for sure, but not enough to make me come back here. Stick to the dessert menu, I hear it’s better.

Make sure to get a reservation or you’ll likely have a long wait. This is a very cute parlor on Main street. The ladies here are very nice and they really make you feel like you’re at home. The food was typical American faire — sandwiches and burgers. Pretty good but nothing spectacular. It was just nice to have a sit down meal away from the crowds. Don’t forget to save room for ice cream which is next door!

Most of the restaurants at Magic Kingdom was booked with reservations. This was the only one that was still being accepted and was also near the firework show. We showed up 20 minutes prior to our reservations hoping that we can get a table a bit earlier, which we did… About 10 minutes earlier than our reservation. The inside was very cute. Everything was white and it looked between both fancy and casual. Although, I kind of wish that it was a bit cleaner. The food was a disappointment. Their cold-slaw which was their signature sides was a disappointment. It didn’t taste very fresh, it was chewy and my jaw started hurting to some point. My tuna sandwich was okay and filled me up pretty quickly. My sister got the vegetarian sandwich and she thought it was okay. She didn’t like the fact that most of the sandwich was mainly a chunk of cheese. And my friend liked his sandwich(whatever he got), but he was always a master of ordering food… But even then he said it was«okay.» Overall, my favorite part of the meal with probably the cold-slaw even though it was tough to chew. That says a lot. I would not come here again the next time I come to Magic Kingdom! I’m making sure to make reservations way ahead of time!

Need a reservation to get into this place or almost any restaurant in Magic Kingdom! I’m glad we got a reservation! So hungry! This place is very quaint. My friends and I went on 2÷23÷2015. The servers are kind of slow compared to DC and NYC but they get the job done. I think it’s a FL thing… The food was good. I’d go back again for sure. I ordered the Turkey club sandwich w broccoli slaw x 2 because I ate my first order then was still hungry so I ordered it again and split it with my 3 friends. The server was a bit surprised when I told her I wanted a second order… hahaha I told her it was really good and wanted another. One of my friends ordered the Brisket burger w broccoli slaw. It was a large portion and he was full after eating it but still had room for ¼ of my tasty turkey club. One of my friends ordered the 10oz meatloaf meal. She shared it with a friend and she was too full for the turkey club. The meatloaf was very good! I had several bites. One of my friends ordered the Chicken sandwich w french fries. It was good but my turkey club was better. He also took ¼ of my second turkey club.

I had reservations for dinner, which was made through the Disney website. We wanted to go there earlier for dinner and decided to see if they were able to seat us earlier. We were given a buzzer and had to wait about 15 minutes and we were able to dine in much earlier than our original reservation. So if you can’t get the time of your choice when making a reservation through Disney website. I suggest going to the restaurant to give it a shot if you can push up the time slot. The restaurant is beautiful with servers dressed up in cute yellow dresses. The food is not as fancy as the restaurant’s décor. They mainly serve sandwiches. I had the cheese steak sandwich and you get to pick a side of your choice. I had it with French fries. Both the sandwich and fries were pretty good. The portions and prices were reasonable. Service was top notch. My drink was refilled without me requesting it. The restaurant is also close to the viewing point of the nighttime shows at Disney.

Located at the very end of Main Street USA, the Plaza can easily go unnoticed as you’re galloping past to make it to Space Mountain in nearby Tomorrowland. However, if you’re looking for a classic meal to enhance the Magic Kingdom experience you will find it at the Plaza. The décor is SO Main Street, from the artwork on the menus to the outfits the staff wears — it exudes that classic Victorian style synonymous with Main Street and the Magic Kingdom. It’s not a big restaurant but the colors are bright so you don’t feel cramped. Our server, Angela, was great — really the epitome of Disney customer service; she did a great job. The lunch menu is no frills — it includes classic sandwiches and salads with slight twists on them to make the experience somewhat unique. I went simple and had the Plaza Club, which had turkey, ham, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on white with a side of fries; my sandwich was tasty and remained intact as I was eating it(don’t you hate when it all falls apart after the first bite?). You’re able to choose other sides but I can’t pass up fries with a club sandwich! Overall, food was okay — nothing stands out too much but it was good. Would I go back? Possibly — it wouldn’t be a «must eat» for me when I’m in Disney but if my circumstances find me in the Magic Kingdom I would definitely consider it.

One of the few place at Magic Kingdom accepting reservations. Our lunch here was nothing to write home about. The service was OK, the food less so and the milkshakes more so. The servers here are constantly running about the place probably reasonable for far too many tables. I had to keep flagging someone down for water refills. My wife and I ordered burgers. Tip #1, the burgers are cooked well done if you don’t say differently. Ours lacked any flavor and bordered on tasting like the Salisbury steak you used to get as a kid at the school cafeteria. They are generous with the toppings offering cheese, bacon, sautéed onions and mushrooms if so inclined. The shakes we ordered were great though and very generous in portions especially when compared to the shake we got at the Sci Fi Drive-in the next day. Tip #2, be the 100th party to be seated that day and get free desert. It happened right after us so we were like number 98 or so and had a 110pm reservation.

Right off of Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom. Definitely make advance dining reservations. When you check in they’ll give you a buzzer while a table is prepared. Too bad there was construction outside otherwise waiting wouldn’t be as bad. We sat right next to a window which is great for people watching over lunch. The service and décor was great I mean it’s Disney after all. The chairs were somewhat uncomfortable but it’s a chair. The kids had the usual kid entrees which was great. My highlight for lunch was my Angus burger. It came with beef brisket, Caramelized onions, provolone cheese on the burger. It was a pretty dam good burger. Overall it’s a great place to dine. It’s Disney!

If this restaurant were located anywhere besides Disney World, I would probably give it two stars. But compared to all of the other terrible dining options at Disney World, this place is a gem. This restaurant is indoors and sit-down, which is wonderful when it is sweltering outside. The entrees are $ 13 – 18. This is of course a rip-off. But the value is better than other restaurants at Disney. Other restaurants at Disney are either incredibly greasy places with horrible $ 10 sandwiches that you order at a counter or more expensive sit-down places. We received a free dessert because we were the 100th customers that day! We had the brownie sundae. It was not quite mediocre, but hey, it was free! Be sure to make reservations at least a day in advance for any sit-down place at Disney World. We learned this our first day there when we couldn’t get into any of the sit-down places. You can make a reservation using the Disney World app.
